Title: Oldie, but Goodie, FLex Wheeler training delts (1993)
Post by: Parker on April 23, 2008, 08:42:30 AM
Here ya go. Dude had hell of detail, especially when he's doing his most muscular. And Who said, Flex didn't have chest. It looks good here.

Candizzle, how long does it take to realistically get that level of size? Not the muscular quality, must just his size in that video?

flex had been training since he was like 15 or 16. flex started juicing at 18. flex is in his mid 20's (i thnk" i that video.
if you were blessed enough to have flex's genetics... then id say that amount of muscle is achievable in about 10 years

but then again, i dont think flex used gh or slin, or very big doseages, utill later in his career...coupple that with a little bit of laziness flex had at times..

id say if you started out big (hard training, heavvy doesages), and you had flex's genetics, you could get there in 5 years, maybe

but then again...what do i know??

You know alot more than you give yourself credit for. It seems like you prefer the look of the bigger mass monsters. What would you ideal weight be when you finally reach your prime in bodybuilding?

Gotta stay away from that ketosis diet, bro. Stick to the buffet tables like GH15 said, get that solid mass first.

Def, if he calls that a workout! Wot a pussy!

One week out from the O, and Charles is not going to let him injure himself (again). He tore a bicep prior to that. I put two and two together when he was doing arms in that vid, and in his book he said he tore a bicep.

I agree, and I never saw this video of Flex in his prime like this in a candid real training scene.
Ya he was cocky but his physique could back it up.
Sad, how so many of them end up with a variety of serious health issues along the way.
One expects that kind of thing in boxing , MMA or football due to the intense contact.
BUT, bodybuilding never had to be that way in terms of health risks.
I will say it again.I don't really care if some guy is 100% drug free or whatever. I do care that the extreme, inflated freaky size is the main deal to win now in a big show.
It would be a BETTER deal if the overall ideal, classic physique was the winning ticket.

He knew what it was, he was playing for the camera. Just like he was saying, "You gonna lose your girl too", whereas he alluding to a incident before where a out of shape dude had his hot girlfriend (complete with period thong up her ass, which was over tights), and he walked out because he saw Flex eying her.

Leverone had freakier shoulders.  Looked a lot more powerful than flex.  Judging by the vids, he was.
