Its not just the politics, this goes back to the Hollywood freaky stuff thread.
It's beyond the politics, it's the "system".
The judicial system is like that as well. The judicial system aka criminal justice system is not about the victim, but in a capitalist society, it's about making money. The cop gets paid to make an arrest, uphold the law, the magistrate gets paid to put a bond on the person, the judge gets paid to "judge", the pub defender/private attorney gets paid to represent you, the state's attorney/prosecutor gets paid to prosecute (and may make deals, so they can get in good with the private law firms after they finish paying for their student loans), the CO's get paid to run the jails, the probation and parole agents get paid, and so on.
The firms that build the jails make money and their stock are traded on wallstreet. And let's not start on drug courts.
Everybody is making money on "criminals", so they count on crime and victimization of the American public.
Everytime you get a ticket or catch a charge, you are feeding the system, feeding the beast.
It's bigger than politics, that is just one aspect of it.
Meh once you understand that the world isn`t a meritocracy, and were all just as fucked as we were 1000 years ago it`s much easier to handle.
Anyhow he`s borderline incoherent in this podcast. He has to many conflicting points, that make him sound like an idiot.
He wants the right to say what he wants in context, than he blows the whole context with just poor logic. Being gay isn`t a fetish, it`s a biological fact for a large portion of the planet. Fetish`s are clearly developed with experience. Just as being straight is developed by birth.
Now if he were to attack trannys or some of that other weird shit he might be on to something.
Anyhow the right to say what you want has limits, if your gonna endanger someone`s life or anyone`s for that matter you are liable. If this isn`t common sense you probably shouldn`t speak at all.
