Yeah, actually it pretty much is. I'm from Columbus, Ohio which incidently is the home of Westside Barbell, and as it's name implies Westside Barbell is located on the westside of Columbus, and the westside of Columbus is home to the majority of white trash and hillbillies that reside in Columbus, so go figure. As a side note, I did only bench press competitions, and these white trash hillbillies called us bp only guys "bench press f@ggots" ;D

I used to do bench press competitions, so I guess dat one could call me a semi-powerlifter 8) Anyways, powerlifting within da U S of A does have a pretty high percentage of white trash, rednecks, and hillbilles that practice dis sport. Believe me, there is a much higher percentage of white trash and hillbilles than there is in almost all other sports.

Originally, P/L was a sport full of insurance salesmen, sales reps, teachers, and other muscleheads.
Traditionally, arm-wrestling was the blue collar sport in the 1970's and early 80's, not powerlifting.
As P/L became well-known and Inzer, Simmons and other bullshit infiltrated the sport, it became more blue-collar.
Bodybuilding was more blue collar than P/L. Obviously, that's changed.

I heard that professional hockey lobbyist keep the price of all equipment very high just so the blacks don't take over their sport and break all the records. If you think about hockey, it really is a no brain physical type of sport. Cold yes. But it doesn't take an advanced mind to dominate. Sprinting, long-distance-running...Not spesifically tendons but an overall lighter structure, they need less strength to move them, which means they also need less muscle mass, whick once again makes them lighter than white fellas, which makes them need less oxygen and energy, atp, glucogen whatever... White fellas are like elephants whereas black brothers are cheetahs. White boys are good in sports where you need to be heavy; your american football, some strength sports, maybe mma, dont know much about fighting so cant really say about that.

Yes, but their bones are still smaller. Theres some studies backing it up. Thats why da afrotrash is so good in long-distance running, for instance. They have light bones in their lower feet. Due to that they need way less energy when running than big boned white men.
You ever seen pics of young flex, dude looks like hes less than 100 pounds. No white fella is that small, even 5ft white guys weigh more than that. Whats flex, 5,11? But, when black brothas start training, eating and juicing every pound of muscle they get looks way more impressivre than the same amount of muscle on white fella, why? Cos their structure is smaller, their joints are smaller, their waists are smaller. Thats why black brotha like flex looks awesome at 210, whereas white guy needs to be at least 230, usually more, to look even remotely close at same height. Bodybuilding is nothing but illusion!

Pure strength sports are dominated, generally-speaking, by white dudes because they're naturally heavier, sturdier and better moving extreme loads. As was said, blacks are quicker, lighter and leaner, but white guys of northern European descent are often built like tanks.
Just look into the cultures of their past. Blacks were chasing fast and agile animals and traversing massive distances on foot in extreme heat; Viking/Germanic folk were slow hunting very large beasts, existing in frozen temperatures, building shelter with heavy material (not light bamboo and shit like that), etc.
The actual structure of the white man is much sturdier and dense. Much better for supporting massive poundage which, in turn, produces muscle far better for moving that weight.

I know a lot of guys of many levels from both side of the fence and usually powerlifters and strongmen use far less gear, but we are heavier and train with heavier weights, plus most of us don't do cardio or at least not enough of it (including me) and that combination screams for cardiac issues... Most bodybuilders use tons compared to other strength athletes, but also eat healthier, do cardio and don't walk around years on end at over 300 lbs so i think that the other factors that bodybuilders do, save them from dropping dead... Of course there are other things to consider, such as stims and diuretics, but generally i think bodybuilders just live healthier...

im white,,, and have competed forever white guys generaly bench, this is mainly cause blacks have longer arms with hurt in the bench and help a whole lot in the deads.. more but black guys usually have great deadlifts which is a higher percentage of the total and they are generally equal in the squat...its always better to have a bigger dead than bench and the dead is done last in the meet so you know what you need to do to win and have your best lift comin up last...now the black guys dont generally get into powerlifting at a younge age casue they goto the big money sports nfl and such....i feel this is the only reason they dont dominate powerlifting...even though alot have steve goggins, gene bell, lamar gant super super long arms!!!!!

I think PL has grown, at least on a local / state level. The recent Ca. State Chsmpionchip had something like 270 competators, but no, it's still pretty white trash.

The last picture is not showing up, I see the top one is Mark Rippetoe looking quite white trash-ish.
I actually like Rippetoe - he is good at making people strong and maximising their natural abilities. They look like shit from a bodybuilding perspective but that's not his goal. He gets a lot of shit from people but what I like about him is he just doesn't care.
Now Louie Simmons, that's a different story... Train some fat slobs to perform back lifts and 1 inch ROM bench presses while wearing multiple layers of elastic gear and be labelled a genius.
