How did he go from placing 3rd at the NPC USA in 1990

to 16th at an IFBB Florida Pro Show in 1996 ?

can Muscle Memory clue us in -- how Jimmy Mentis got his Pro-Card
(Mr Greece perhaps)

There are 9 other bodybuilders from 1996 (only a decade ago) that have seem to have
fallen off the radar

this is a 3 year old thread. I haven't used cgi links in pretty much that many years. the preferred link is always /show.php?a=last,+first while /show.php?s=name will search for matchs

Regarding Jimmy Mentis: you guys need to ease up. Jimmy had a huge frame and did damn well to earn his Pro card with such a big structure.

Couple things: You will never meet a nicer guy in this industry...... and he always has me laughing my ass off every time I see him!!!!! Fantastic sense of humor! Anyone that knows Jimmy likes and respects him.

Secondly... Jimmy is a HUGE man in person. At his height .... he is around 300 pounds right now .....and none of you guys would dare critricize him in person like you do on this board. Come on guys.... ease up a little, hey?

Without a scale we are both just guessing? I know he was trying to downsize .... but when I saw him at the Colorado Pro he said he was just over 300 pounds and i definitely believed him.

Jimmy posts here .... he will be on here soon and tell us. Whether he is 300 or a leaner 268 ....he is still a huge son of a gun. And you are missing my main point ...just a cool guy.

mentis is a cool dude, i think everyone knows this. He runs a pretty successful supplement line http://bodywellnutrition.com/ and is always hitting vitamin shops with his athletes just about every weekend. Jimmy hustles, never stops moving. You'll see him all over south florida with Kill bill Wilmore and the ever hot Kristal Richardson
