You'd do the same. I'd do the same. I used to write off ALL petrol, phone expenses etc off and I ran a shitty small company. Get what you can when you look at all the leechers in society and you work.

Agree.

I'm trying to rent a new house in town where I've always lived. Just a one or two bedroom house/apt with a limit of €1200. That's about $1500/month. 4 times I've had viewings cancelled as place has been let beforehand, viewing an apt tonight saw it had 2000 views in 4 days. It is a joke. Then I see all these scumbags who never worked a day in their lives living in 3 or 4 bed council houses in same town, take heroin/drink all day, claim child benefit and do nothing yet never worry about such things. Fucking hate my country sometimes, we need to take care of the vulnerable and weak, yes, but not give a free ride to the lazy and worthless.

I'm assuming a "counsil"house where you're from is the equivalent to what we call Section 8 housing here? Subsidized housing?

Govt (taxpayer) pays your rent, you pay a minimal supplement, equivalent of maybe $70/month (social welfare is $220/month or so/week). If you saw these areas, you would rage. They get dominoes pizza, drink beer etc with the money, they have no intent on getting jobs often on 3rd generation of jobless losers.

in OH, it was called AMHA housing.  our rent was $8 a month until we moved in 92.  Eight bucks.  And it wasn't projects either - they would get places the bank/state foreclosed, right in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood, and place us there.   I loved it at the time - we moved from projects off rolling ares mall in Akron, into goodyear heights, overnight, with all the middle class folks.

it must have sucked from the neighbor's point of view - they work hard for 2 decades and buy their dream home, and some single mom with 3 kids and a drunk part-time dad shooting off guns in the basement just moves in for $8 a month to a nicer house.  They sure did build a nice big fence mighty quick lol.

It looked nice at the beginning.   Like I said, I whon a $200 dollar dinner at a steak house.  My girl and I went there.  So I wanted to maximize the $$ that I whon.  So I ordered a Chilean sea bass,  a Australia lobster and a pund and a half of Alaskan king crab.   This was a small table for two, it was cumbersome to have all those plates and share.  So I dumped it all in one plate and we shared it.

I liked going to eat with my ex. I would eat my food and take most of here home to eat later after training. Anabolic window of peace.  8)
