One of the most perfect physiques EVER.

Fantastic posing. It does not get any better than that. That is how a real bodybuilder poses and looks.

I only wish he didn`t have the Gyno there. Other than that, Clearly way ahead of todays pros. VERY, VERY Impressive.

He had an awesome taper going and such a tiny waist. His legs would have to look like DeMayo's or Branch Warren to match the upper body.

The video was cool but a bit of a shame about the gyno.....

Guys. I watched Mr.O 87-89 some time ago, and let me tell you, Brian did the most AWESOME gains between 88 and 89. in 89 he was a freak! Maybe the best upper body of all time. Does anyone have any more pics from this show? Easily the widest back, smallest waist ever. Great, great arms too.

Compare Brians look to Ronnie at that time. What a difference in quality!

Brian made his best gains when he was a teenager,here he is at age 18 winning the Jumior Mr Britain in 1981,and one year later he placed 2nd in the Mr Britain.The colour photos were taken two weeks before the Britain show at a guest posing spot he did.

I agree, it's like he didn't train legs for the 1989 Mr. O, and I read and have seen pics of him doing, 600 pound + squats, I think ND has the pics scanned on here.

I have a clip of Ronnie's first Mr Olympia and the commentator was saying that Ronnie had weak legs and I quote: "Could use more time under the squat rack". Well, times have certainly changed, as Ronnie's quads and hams are some of the largest in bodybuilding.
