Yeah but look at it this way, the only soccer player i know of is Zenadin Zidan, and that other guy who headbutted that mofo right before he retired.

So hows it a big suprise that people dont know the names of bodybuilders? If they dont follow bbing, why would they!?

So you are saying that people wouldn't know the names Steve Reeves, Lou Ferrigno and other bodybuilders who became movie stars? 

I concede that less than 1 percent could name a current pro bodybuilder.  My 30-40% is optimistic, to be sure, but I am sure that more than .0001% could name a bodybuilder. 

Ask your wife, girlfriend, relatives, buddies, etc.  If you say, "name a bodybuilder" and they don't at least say, "You," then you might as well stop lifting!  :D

Plenty of people who don't follow sports could name baseball, basketball or football players.
