This years Mr. Olympia was stacked. Every guy was in great condition. Sorry I couldn't get DVD quality at this time, but it's the best I have for now.

Wow Nasser did look fucking good in that show! What place did he get? Dorian fucking owns though. He is clearly the hardest guy at that show. Nasser, Kevin, Paul, fucking everyone else is holding water.

Yeah Nasser looks great, its because he used diuretics and no one else did because the IFBB tested this show.
It was tested for diuretics (Hence why Nasser was DQ'd), and Dorian said he sacrificed a LOT of size in order to make sure his condition was spot on without the diuretics.
Dorian won because he had unmatched conditioning while still being one of the biggest on the stage, and being complete head to toe. He has a front to back dry, dense thickness thats unmatched. Thats why he won.

Wont get any argument hear - From the front Nasser was Mr. O seven ways from sunday. He had more muscle than almost everyone.
Till he turned around, then he looked like a middleweight. And his conditioning was hit-miss.

Therefore, it follows that he added size in the offseason, and dieted EXTRA hard, dieting off the muscle he added in the offseason, putting him around the same weight as the year before but extra depleted for dryness. ::).

If most competitors didnt use diuretics, the ones that cheated and used them would have a clear cut advantage right from the start - in this case Nasser did, he placed better because of it, then he got caught and DQ'd. Also regarding Nasser vs. Levrone contest placings against each other, judges always gave Levrone so many more points in the posing round over Nasser at each show, that despite Nasser usually scoring more in the symmetry and muscularity rounds, Levrone got a better overall placing in many (still not all) shows against Nasser.
Whereas now for many years the posing round doesn't even count towards the contest placing (and rightfully so), therefore under today's judging standards Nasser would beat Levrone with ease.

He shouldnt have kept his placing, just as Nasser wasnt.
But with enough money and a good enough lawyer, it doesnt matter.

This is a gossip and opinions board so various scenerios and topics can be and are discussed. I`m not disputing the contest results of past shows that`s black and white and can`t be disputed, however when discussing who had a better physique, who would beat who at their best, etc. these other factors are worthy of discussion.

Youre so infatuated with Nasser that you actually try and rewrite history and tell people how he was so amazing, how he was this unstoppable juggurnaut of BB; when in actuallity he didnt win that much, and he didnt even have that long of a career as a legit threat. These are facts.
But yet you and team Nasser argue and try and convince others all bunch of shit that flies in the face of reality, and you use obtuse arguements and intangibles to try and make your point.
You guys cant even admit Nasser didnt place in 96 cause he got caught for diuretics. You guys have to try and twist everything to make it seem like he was singled out. Not that he got caught, but it was IFBB politics "holding him down" Sad really.

Awesome work iceman, Yates Conditioning was Incredible in 1996 not as full as 1995 but the actual DETAIL in the Muscle Conditioning all round was right up there with his Best.

NP Johnny. Yates conditioning was great, but his arms and delts were down in size from 1995. Looked great though.

The testing facility had an expired license so Jay claimed that results weren't official and threatened to sue them if they will not overturn the results. Jay kept his second place.
That year Levrone hadn't fill the paperwork to compete. They decided at the last moment that he is eligible if he pays 25k. He did and placed third. Shawn Ray was so pissed off that he retired because of those reasons. If everything was done by the books he would've been second.
