xrays are worthless for soft tissue....way to radiate someone for no reason whatsoever.

In California, I’m most cases they require an X-Ray before any imaging to see if there’s any structural damage. I’ve gone through it twice in the last year with same shoulder even though the first MRI showed a significant tear. Personally, I don’t understand why the need for a second X-Ray

Dr said no problem he can put a big as Achilles tendon in it go into the scar tissue and release it pull it all together and stitch it up says it will be stronger than original tendon will not tear again. Even showed me pics of a bodybuilder before and after said it won’t look as good as the other but will look a lot better will be no crater when flexed. But most importantly says it will be strong 6 weeks along 6-12 months recover to full strength

Its just a check box set up by insurance companies.  They will bitch and moan when  xrays are done but in the case of soft tissue like yours, it was an unnecessary expense for you and no need for radiation.

The dr seemed really confident Like this was standard procedure for him no problem said he could make it better
