A top FBI agent based in Washington, D.C., reportedly resigned from his position last week after being accused of attempting to thwart a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.

Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was escorted out of the Washington field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.

Thibault had already been on leave since FBI director Christopher Wray revealed during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month that he found the whistleblower claims against the agent and his colleague, FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten, “deeply troubling.”

I personally thank god every night for Hunter Biden... Who without him, Trumpsters would have nothing to complain about and would have to focus on Trumps lying and cheating and trying to get another government/country to investigate his political opponent. They would have to deal with Trump instigating the January 6th attempt to overthrow a LEGITIMATE United states election that resulted in deaths of US citizens and cops.. But thankfully Hunter Biden's "crimes" allow the good Republican people of Getbig to ignore all that and focus on ........hell I don't even know.. but it seems to be enough to get them mobilized and not thinking about Trumps attempt to overthrow the government so it must be major

I assume few will agree and a few will actually throw out a few sad insults of my opinion. But it is my opinion and I'm aware it conflicts with the majority opinion but that's OK. I will not likely ever understand how good people could support a person like Trump. It calls into question the very defintion of "Good people" I actually get the support during the first election.. people were looking for a change is how I rationalized people who would support a candidate that would mock a POW and speak of women as he did on the bus. I am not a "Trumpster" and do not want him president again.

However, having "nothing to complain about" with out Hunter is only correct if you ignore the southern border crisis, insane inflation, a looming housing crash, high city crime, a botched Afghanistan withdrawl, vast identity politics, and a incredibly divisive President who actually ran on unity. Oh, and he may be in mental decline.

In addition, your point about him trying to get another gov't/country to investigate a political opponent, I don't believe it was ever proven. The left says he was, the right says he was asking to look into 2016 election fraud. The burden of proof was on the left, and they failed at that. Pelosi knew it was a sham impeachment, which she held off on as long as she could because she knew it wouldn't pass the Senate.

I agree that Hunter Biden, his shenanigans, and his laptop are a distraction. I wonder if this will play itself out before 2024 or some folks will keep it alive regardless the expense.

You are omitting the fact that it was a Trump protest with a very specific purpose. That being to disrupt President Biden's certification. Many if not most of those folks marched on the Capitol at Trump's direction. Trump's goal was to stay in office at any cost including sacrificing the very people who support him if necessary.

Mary Trump hit the nail on the head when she said it’s "impossible for Donald Trump to "believe he lost the election". She also said, “I don’t think he’s ever accepted the truth of the loss. I don't think he’s psychologically or emotionally capable of that.”

I was addressing his claim that January 6 "resulted in deaths of US citizens and cops." That is a false statement, unless he was referring to Ashli Babbitt (doubtful). And this from a person who claims to be "all about facts and evidence."
