When I was a kid me and my friends used to blow up garbage cans with M-80's.  I created a time-delay fuse using a cigarette and putting the fuse though it.  When we lit the cigarette it would take about 15-20 minutes for the heat to reach the M-80 fuse and explode.  The lid of the garbage can must have risen 30-40ft in the air.  Fun times in the 1970's.  Today this would put me in jail for 20+ years.
