Now compare that to most of the people in the vid and its a 10000000000000000000000% difference.

Because, see how it hems people up in the end. I see how people who get DUIs back a few yrs ago now trying to pass The Bar and trying to get the charges expunged, dudes fighting, who love to fight, catch domestic charges, or running with the wrong crowd catch the brunt, and they go down for charges. I see the end. Half the time I try to talk sense into the knuckle heads, you want to fight then either fight for something serious or make money out it, just be smart about it. Over here, getting shot or killed over stupid ish makes no sense. Hindsight is 20/20 when you are staring up at the lights in the ER about you don't know when you are about to check out, all over some "disrespect" and you actually won the fight.

But, Its all good Pellius,  you lend some brevity to the situation and Im glad your nephew enjoys doing what he loves...

 

Sorry I missed this earlier. My nephew loves to fight but keeps it in the gym. He's not a street thug and never starts trouble. Sure, he's gotten into a couple of scraps like at a grad party last month where this college kid was giving him the meaningless boxing vs mma nonsense. I'm sure the guy was a good boxer but didn't get a chance to show off the fancy footwork and quick hands because of the double leg take down (my nephew also wrestled in high school while doing BJJ like they all do now).

He loves to train and it kept him away from drugs and out of trouble during his teen years.


But he doesn't drink

His training consisted of visualizing someone taking his plate away. Fat kids get real quick when their source of food is threatened

   It's ok, I got your point.  I've always read that Hawaii is no place to f around....especially if you an outsider.  I bet Keith could verify that and tell us stories of vacationers getting smoked by some local surfers, etc... for crashing their spot.

I did too when i was younger and then met some guys who had been stationed there.  They said that the locals didn't take too kindly to the mainlanders and had no problem throwing down.  I guess they were right.

The fights in that original video are 10x better than most of the fights at the Muay Thai gym i train at.

Some of those kids actually knew MT and used if effectively.

Shit most of the bar fights i have seen here in the states couldn't match the girl fights on that video.

Remember this is getbig, everyone is Fedor or Tyson on here.
