Title: What is the bloodiest wrestling match you have seen.

In person.  Not counting Youtube vids or wrestling mag photos.  (Miss those old mags with the blood photos)

By in person, I mean being at the match itself or watching as it was aired on TV for the first time.

The Midnight Rockers versus Buddy Rose and Doug Somers. They had blood baths every time they wrestled in the old AWA.

I used to see Buddy Rose around town every so often. Regret not getting an autograph or pic with him.

freddie blassie when he was his vampire character biting some poor jobbers head open in allentown pa... any number of ecw matches in ag hall many years later.

Ahhhh...my childhood right there. The infamous wrestling mags with covers of guys bleeding beyond belief  :)

I remember watching that match live on tv. Very brutal. I think Foley was handcuffed and later said Rock went too far.

I watched it live as well and remember his wife/kids being there watching that up close.. crying their eyes out screaming...

thought it was a work until I saw blood shooting profusely out of Mick's head

That was crazy...I'm honestly surprised that he didn't get some form of concussion or brain damage from that. I believe it was more than 11 chair shots...more like 20  :-\
