Title: Lou Ferrigno 'Distraught, Upset' Over Jackson Death
Post by: Stormcloud on June 25, 2009, 03:22:43 PM

Oh oh...

From the Sun....

SKINNY MICHAEL JACKSON has turned to the INCREDIBLE HULK in a desperate bid to get in shape for his comeback gigs.

The singer, 50, has roped in actor LOU FERRIGNO, famed as the TV superhero, as his personal trainer.

Ex-Mr Universe Lou, 57, has been making secret visits to Jacko’s Los Angeles mansion to help improve his fitness for dance routines at London’s O2 this summer.

But sources say underweight Jacko is too frail to undergo gruelling workouts and refuses to lift weights.

The source added: “Lou has been visiting Michael to build him up so he can perform his dance routines.

“But Jacko refuses to lift weights. He doesn’t want to bulk up.”

Jacko is battling skin cancer and is terrified that piling on the pounds could ruin his chance of beating the killer disease.

The singer is dwarfed by 6ft 5in Lou.

They became pals after Jacko worked out at the actor’s gym in 2007.

Previously, bodybuilder Lou said of the Beat It singer: “Michael is more delicate. Our trainer conditioned him for dancing. He likes me — he feels safe with me, he feels protected.

“He was nervous about people looking at him when he was training.

The Sun revealed earlier this month how the 5ft 10in star weighs nine stone and eats just one meal a day.

He was diagnosed with cancer last month and has already had painful shave biopsies on his chest, arm and nose to remove potentially lethal growths.

Lou Ferrigno -- former "Hulk" star and Michael's trainer for his upcoming tour -- and his wife, Carla, are in pieces over the King of Pop's passing.

Carla, crying, told us: "He was so great and we all loved him. Lou can't even form words right now -- he's in total shock ... he thought he was going to be training Michael tomorrow. He was planning on flying back to Los Angeles to do it. He's very shocked right now. Michael was so cute and sweet -- he didn't deserve this."

Michael Jackson has roped in a personal trainer in a bid to get in shape for his comeback tour in London.

The King of Pop has roped in actor Lou Ferrigno, the TV superhero, as his personal trainer.

Reports have revealed that ex-Mr Universe Lou, 57, has been making secret visits to the singer's Los Angeles mansion to help him improve his fitness for dance routines at London's O2 this summer.

However, sources have said that underweight Jacko is took weak to undergo gruelling workouts, and refuses to lift weights.

"Lou has been visiting Michael to build him up so he can perform his dance routines," British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.

The source added: "But Jacko refuses to lift weights. He doesn't want to bulk up."

The Thriller star is battling skin cancer, and is terrified that piling on the pounds could ruin his chance of beating the killer disease.

Jacko and Lou became pals after the superstar worked out at the actor's gym in 2007.

Previously, bodybuilder Lou said of the Beat It singer: "Michael is more delicate. Our trainer conditioned him for dancing. He likes me - he feels safe with me, he feels protected. He was nervous about people looking at him when he was training."

Jackson was diagnosed with cancer last month, and has already undergone painful shave biopsies on his chest, arm and nose to remove potentially lethal growths.

I wonder if the Jackson family will try to pin this on Lou?

I also am very curious about what type of skin cancer he had. Aggressive growths on the chest, arm, and nose, along with being extremely underweight... Not to mention all the bizarre allegations, as well as always having such an effeminate, "delicate" manner - I can't help but wonder if he may have had other health problems?

PITTSBURGH -- Prior to his unexpected death Thursday, pop icon Michael Jackson had been training for a comeback and upcoming European tour with bodybuilder and star of The Incredible Hulk TV Series, Lou Ferrigno.

Ferrigno was at the Days Inn in Butler on Friday for the 2009 Monster Bash Convention, and as the man popularly known for portraying an unstoppable superhero greeted fans, he did so with a heavy heart.

Video:Ferrigno 'Distraught, Upset' Over Jackson Death

"I'm just very upset, distraught. I'm just upset about it," said Ferrigno of Jackson's death. "I just really don't want to talk about him."

Wecht Weighs In

WTAE Channel 4's Bob Mayo spoke via satellite on Friday with former Allegheny County coroner and forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, who likened Jackson's death and the impact of prescription medication to that of Anna Nicole Smith and Elvis Presley.

Video:Cyril Wecht Weighs In On Jackson Death

"By virtue of their status, they can pretty much get whatever they want. There's always some doctor around who will do anything to please them, to be the celebrity physician. With Elvis Presley, you had good 'Dr. Nick' [Nichopoulos]. Anything that Elvis wanted -- he wanted to play handball at three o'clock in the morning -- he wrote a prescription for an upper."

Wecht noted the reports that Jackson collapsed after an injection of the powerful painkiller Demerol.
"I would consider this to be an accidental death. That doesn't mean that you can't take actions against physicians who prescribed the medications," said Wecht. "Therein lies the tragedy. These great talents, these celebrities, one more famous than the other and these deaths keep occurring. It's amazing how they continue to play out. They, the people using the drugs and so many physicians prescribing the drugs, do not seem to get the message."

But Wecht said the problem extends beyond celebrities.

"While we only hear about Anna Nicole Smith, Elvis Presley Heath Ledger and now Michael Jackson, every minute in America, and I think I'm not exaggerating, probably every minute, certainly every other minute, someone is dying in America from the cumulative effect of three, four, five, six drugs," said Wecht.

Wecht was also intrigued by questions as to what those around Jackson did in the moments after they believed he went into cardiac arrest.

"You call the paramedics, and in the Michael Jackson case, they called the private doctor. I don't know the details, I don't know the chronological events, but it may well be that if they had called the paramedics immediately, who knows, they might have saved his life," said Wecht.

Wecht said he anticipates legal battles stemming from the findings of an autopsy.

"This is going to be one incredibly complex, multifaceted legal mess, just as it is right now a real serious medical legal forensic pathological puzzle," said Wecht.

Promoters of Jackson's upcoming planned concert tour had taken out millions in insurance on him, but could face even higher losses.

"They took out all kinds of insurance policies -- you can be sure -- to cover their rear ends, understandably. If this is an accidental death, then there might be double indemnity," said Wecht.

Local Promoter Remembers 'King Of Pop'

Former concert promoter Rich Engler hoped to bring Jackson to Pittsburgh for a show at the then Civic Arena in the mid-80s, but the deal fell through.
Still, Engler got a nice compensation for his efforts -- a collector's edition of Jackson's all-time best selling album, Thriller.

Engler said Jackson's manager, Frank DiLeo, gave it to him at Jackon's Beverly Hills office.

Engler had hoped to bring Jackson's Thriller show to the arena, but it fell apart when bigger stadium shows in bigger cities lured the pop icon away.

But Jackson still wanted to say "thank you," and gave Engler the album, which he never took out of its cover until after Jackson's death.

"Unfortunately we lost one of the greats -- Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson.

Engler said he plans to frame the album.

Michael Jackson’s workouts with Lou Ferrigno may have been too much

Michael Jackson was always concerned about the product of his live show. Jackson would not accept an inferior performance to resonate upon the gleaming eyes of his beloved fanatics. The dedication that Michael Jackson invested into his performance quality was his motivation for the physical preparation he withstood leading up to his comeback. A physical preparation, designed by Lou Ferrigno, that a 50 year-old Jackson possibly could not withstand.

People magazine quoted in its June 18, 2009 edition, that Lou Ferrigno was indeed the personal trainer that Michael Jackson had employed to mold his physic for the physical grind of a 50 stop world tour. The article quoted Carla Ferrigno as stating “Lou and Michael have known each other for a long time…Lou first trained Michael 15 years ago.”

Lou Ferrigno is known by many as the star of the 1970’s television hit “The Incredible Hulk.” Ferrigno, 57, has trained other notable celebrities in the past including Mickey Rourke and Chuck Norris. Ferrigno’s exact routine for such celebrity clientele is not publically known but the workouts have brought substantial results including the muscle gain of Mickey Rourke for his own comeback last year, the film “The Wrestler.”

The physical demands of a workout routine along with the age of Jackson could have been a mixture of stress on Michael’s heart that lead to the apparent heart attack and cardiac arrest.

What a greedy motherfucking piece of shit, the only reason he cares is because he lost the opportunity to make a couple hundred grand training Jackson for his upcoming tour... so he raised the prices on his pictures and posters... to $30.00 disgusting piece of human trash.  ferrigno's pulling this shit while guys like Johhny Depp are leaving $4000.00 tips in restaurants and I'm sure enough autographs for the entire working crew.

Though I thought he reached his lowest when he sued his brother for use of the FAMILY name, nope...he took it lower.... WOW.

Who gives a SHIT what Low Ferrigno thinks/says/does anyway?? ???

But it was obvious that now he'll portray himself as Michael Jacksons closest friend for decades to increase his market value lol.

I have heard Louie was training Michael Jackson for his comeback tour.
Do you think Louie was giving Michael Clembuterol or Testosterone, or any steroids.
If he was, it will come out in toxicology, and I'm sure Michael was Paying Lou
Big bucks to train him.

I would not be supprised if Louie's arrogance (Karma) will come back to bite him
in the ass, because if you were getting $1000 a training session, and had access
to the drugs, and are educated, (as Lou is) in the usage of the drug, many would
take the money, and supply the drugs and train as well.

Whats YOu insight or opinion on this?

Opiates lower, and sometimes zero out natural test levels.  He had test of some sort in him.
I would bet anything on it.

London, June 19, 2009

R.I.P. Jacko

god people are fucking retarded.......many people dedicate their whole lives to bodybuilding and never acheive that "bulky" look.......this freak thinks it will happen the moment he does a set of bicep curls ......like it that easy, probably just an excuse not to do any hard work

I truly believe that if Lou did try to push MJ like a bodybuilder and he died because of it, Louie should be held responsible...No one in there right fucking mind would take that gig unless MJ signed many waivers...If Louie doesn't have proof of waivers signed then I think he should get atleast 10 years for manslaughter...Lou knows what a drug addict looks like...He hangs in LA for crying out loud...Louie's Karma is going to get the best of him...

MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING BIG LOUIE...I'm not saying you had anything to do with MJ's death but if you did, you should sit in a cell for no less then 10 years...

BY THE WAY, WHY THE FUCK DOES A GUY LIKE YOU WANT TO TRAIN A CHILD MOLESTOR??????DO YOU REALLY PLAY NAIVE AND SAY HE IS INNOCENT JUST FOR THE MONEY?

If so holy fucking shit you are a fucking douchebag...

Michael Jackson died because of the pressure of his US$400 million debts, according to his personal trainer, Lou Ferrigno.

Ferrigno claims Jackson was forced into agreeing to his 50-night This Is It comeback concerts because of his massive financial problems, and the Incredible Hulk star believes the pressure of the mammoth run ultimately led to the singer's death last month.

Ferrigno, 57, said: "He was under tremendous stress, so much I think it killed him. He was $400 million in debt. In the past, he had backed out of doing live shows but this time he was under the gun. The debts put a huge strain on him."

Bodybuilder Ferrigno - who rose to fame playing green anti-hero The Hulk in the popular 70s TV series - felt 50-year-old Jackson was in great shape only months before his death, when they trained together for his comeback shows, and that he saw no signs of drug abuse.

He said: "Michael had undergone a five-hour medical in February and had passed with flying colours, but he wanted to be fitter.

"So I would go to his house with an inflatable exercise ball and 3lb dumbbells. He did not like the dumbbells. He said he didn't want big shoulders and big muscles like me.

"I laughed and said, 'Michael, there's no way you will get big shoulders from 3lb dumbbells.'"

Ferrigno also revealed Jackson - who reportedly only had prescription medication in his stomach when he died from a suspected cardiac arrest, according to an autopsy - had bizarre eating habits and a strange attitude to dressing.

He added in an interview with Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "He ate only one meal a day, always in the evening. He'd wake up and not have anything for the whole day, and when he did eat it was always vegetarian.

"He also wore whatever he put on first thing. So if he put pyjamas on he would wear pyjamas for the rest of the day. But it was always with a suit jacket - that was the Michael Jackson signature."

I just heard on the radio today that despite the 400 mill debt
he is still +200 million in assets

so, your post likely does not ring true (or, Ferrigno's statement)

Hahaha yes db. Don't forget the "I don't want to look like Arnold or *points at a pic of Ronnie or another bodybuilder* that" line from the 5'6" and below guys who weigh about 120lb, train in packs and give that as the reason why they prefer doing cable crossovers as their main chest exercise over something like the bench or incline.

owns 50% of the catalog via ATV and Sony merger in which he received about $100M upfront.  25% of the royalties come his way vs 50% to Paul and Lennon estate as writers.
