       pay isn't worth the risks of getting shot or sued when you execute your duties.

I bounced for a while for some extra money between jobs. not worth it at all. FIrst night was escorting a guy out and he turned around and threw a glass at some other guy splitting his lip. The guy tried to sue the bar and me. 

Also, I had to ask tweeked drug dealers to leave the bar quite often, and they were always pissed and kinda humiliated. Just what I wanted, some meth head with a grievance for me in my neighborhood. WHo the fuck knows what one of these low lifes is capable of. Not worth it at all.

i know a guy that was a former member on getbig....he was a low level NPC competitor, had never been in a fight in his life, and was afraid of the dark....after i failed him out of the police academy he became a bouncer...he thinks he is bullet proof now!..he is strung out on all kinds of drugs....and shrunk from 230+ to a 150lbs soaking wet twink....he still bounces wearing the tightest under armour available..and now gets his ass kicked on a nightly basis...and claims to be banging playboy centerfolds every night.....even though females are repulsed by him..

yeah thats messed up, its a dangerous world for sure, but with alot of professions i think the reward outweighs the risk. can make good money as a bouncer and you probably get to sex alot of the hot women who drink at the bar too.

Of course there may be upsides, plus it depends where your working too, if your working in a big city as oppose to a smaller town, then the risks might be smaller, but these days with all the psycho's carrying guns and knives, it aint worth it.

I did bouncing a while back before I worked at the Detention Center but I moved on to a corporate security firm.  More pay and less dangerous.  Being a bouncer sounds much cooler than it really is.  Drunks are always a problem and even if they don't fight, dragging them out after they have puked and vomited always leaves a nice smell on your clothes.  Not only that, people are carrying more guns into the club and with bartenders being more lazy on who has drunk too much, its a recipe for a serious calamity.

My advice, just take a regular security job.  Avoid being a bouncer because it ain't like the movie Roadhouse.

Maybe some of the bouncers are pussies @ some hick town you guys live in, but in large cities most bouncers cross train several martial arts and are armed to the teeth.
