There must be something to be said for the way boxers train, i know alot have to stay in weight classes, but super heavies like mike hwo can get as big as is practical are all huge.

Maybe doing press ups/pull ups all day and speed ball work really does build up the shoulders chet and back pretty well.

I would have included Randy Couture in the top 10.  He fought through a broken arm in the Gonzaga fight, even punching with the arm that Gonzaga broke with a head kick.

How can they not put Chabal in there?
Or is it limited only to athletes from the USA?

you could also make the argument that Tiger, Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson have all put BILLIONS of dollars into the pockets of many people through endorsing products, the money these three guys have made for people is astronomical.

it's too bad he's his own worst enemy, i don't think as many people hate him as he thinks there are, he could make a great living helping kids or anyone wanting to become involved in boxing but it seems he wants to go down the route Sonny Liston did.

okay it is a list of current athletes not all time, so hence no iron mike.

as for chabal already addressed.  The guy is a pussy for his size and if you actually followed rugby instead of gay worshipped him with pic whore threads you would understand this.  No you tube isn't watching an actual game.

Tiger is an athlete because golf is a sport.  Just because a sport isn't highly physically demanding doesn't make it not a sport.  Cricket isn't highly demanding if all you do is bat and feild, it's more mental.  Same with baseball getting pitched to 3-4 times a night then playing out feild isn't exactly overly demanding in most cases.  Yet they are still sports and tiger is still an athlete that dominates like no other.

Abandon every hope...

After rewatching that Fedor highlight, Nog needs to be on that list.  He has taken a beating from Fedor, Crocop, et al.

More so than bodybuilding!

do you feel like you exert yourself more when you swing a golf club?

moreso than flexing all of your muscles simultaneously for long periods of time/

Excellent post. Every time I fly into Vegas I know the plane flies right over his grave. Sad end for the bad man.

you have never played golf at high level before, that much is obvious.

there IS A DIFFERENCE between the way your grandpa plays golf, and the way a ATHLETE like tiger woods plays golf.

tigers golf swing is an ATHLETIC MOVEMENT.

if tigers not an athlete, then no DH ini the major leagues is either.

Fedor should've been number one. Tiger's the man but could he come back from this?

Most people would be paraplegics after that, let alone win.
