In Hayward? ??? Sorry, I don't cross the bridge. :-*
-
My homeboy Big Ron bringing his pimp game to the 925!
Lock up your daughters Contra Costa. Big Ron the playa is coming at you.
-
Isn't get-bigger Methyl Mike going to be the biggest natural ever at this show?
-
Ron, I held the elevator door for you at the 08 nats at the hotel.
You have a very intimidating stare! :o
-
Good luck to big Cody Lewis, I heard him on the Derek Anthony podcast and he seems like a fine Christian.

Do you know the joke about the bay bridge being the longest bridge in the world? I heard it at a party last week.

I talk to all - just come up to me and say hello! Especially if I am sitting there taking pics - don't worry about bugging me! I will be around before prejudging taking misc pics, and looking around, etc.

Ha - more like I was just tired! Dude - gotta say hello!
-
Ron, Cody is a good family friend, so please wish him the BEST for me as I cannot be there this weekend to offer my support.
Taylor and a few other GetBiggers are from the valley area also so I hope they show up to offer support for Cody and any other competing GetBigger from that area.
I hope each of them get an opportunity to meet ya and intro themselves. You might want to offer them a cookie if they come up and say, "Howdy!"!
Cody is mentally and physically up for the win but I have no idea who is entered so I cannot offer a "guesstimate".
Maybe Will Furner? Maybe Greg Tuck?
Can you provide an entranis list sometime this weekend?
Thanks, Ron

Post some pics Ron, when you take them..

Will do - should be a very good local NPC contest
-
A couple good friends of mine are going, I am tempted.
Haven't hit the gym in several weeks, so sadly biggest natural ever will not be happening.
A bunch of my friends are definitely going out for dinner after, this is tempting.
Ron I may have to go just to say hello. On the fence here.
-
Always a good show, did it a couple of years ago and the competition is always tough.
-
Figure and Bikini competitor check-ins were this evening, I counted over 100+ girls and a few friends were out here too. It looks like it is going to be a good contest tomorrow. Prejudging will begin at 10am.
-
Any updates Ron?
-
Darn! I would like to have entered in that Master's Ultra Division. I really would have enjoyed training for that one. Oh well. There will be other contests.
-
Pretty lackluster show.
You could count the guys on one hand who actually looked like they suffered and came into shape.
-
FLEX .... How about some more details?
Whom appear to be the top contenders.
How was the prejudging turnout?
Did the number of events add to or subtract from the audience interest?
One problem that is most noticeable within today's NPC sanction events is that there are just too damn many contested 'awards' within too darn many divisions.
The somewhat long judging process makes it somewhat boring for the fans in attendence and very difficult for the majority of the contenders who have to arrive early and then wait for many hours before they are called on stage.
But the greater the number of contestants, the less pressure is placed on the promoter to cover the expenses, so it seems that NPC events will continue to take more time and get more boring in the process.
But I must give praise and credit to the the NPC judging officials who do their best to move that judging process along swiftly and professionally even the fans often feel
somewat differently.
-
RON .... I hope that you're able to post some results before lights-out this evening.
And ... before you even ask .... I have no idea where in that area .... a good late meal would be available.
A couple of years back we all 'fine dined' at a great Japanese restaurant in a near-by shopping center .... but it was more like a lunch-time meal immediately following pre-judging. I think that town goes dark after 10 PM.

Just heard from Cody Lewis with the good news that he is now the youngest contender to ever win the overall Contra Costa Contest (men's open)
GREAT JOB, CODY!!!!
-
Pretty lackluster show.

The sacramento (held at the same spot) was just as bad last year. My buddy got 5th light heavies and the guys beating him even looked bad. The ones that he passed ahead of, some were fat as hell! Like, never dieted for one day fat. Lower level shows definitely suck sometimes.
-
How were the women's events? I'm surprised they didn't have men's physique
-
Just spoke with Cody. He's happy as a pig in shit.
His mind was so preoccupied on the contest that he doesn't even recall if he met you or not, Ron.
-
Legs have tons of potential...rest of the body seems not mature enough, yet.
Im alot more "jealous" about the legs rather than his upper body.
Congratulations to him for the win.
-
Where's the rest of the pics? This show always has tough competition.

The competitors left a lot to be desired. I can't believe how many of them had the balls to step on the stage without dieting first....or working out. ::)

LOL, people don't understand how funny that comment is ;D
