I think a point could be made that he should but i doubt Jay will skip it.

Jay will keep fighting no matter what, maybe this year is his year...

If not, at least he'll know that he gave it his all and he wasn't a quitter.

Bottom line the Olympia cements your place in history, no matter how many ASC's you win.  Every bber's goal is to be Mr. O, not 4 time Arnold winner.  Besides, at this point he is chasing history, he has banck acct is nice and full.

No he's not, but he WILL win once Ronnie retires.  Dorian didn't beat Haney but he took over when he retired

yes but ronnie is not retired yet, which is why he should skip the olympia this year and give someone else a chance to get 2nd place, the whole jay bridesmaid shit is older than old.

How many times have you ever attended a contest, say power meet. But not competed for whatever reason. The person who won the bench press, pressed 20 pounds less than you do everyday.

You say to yourself, "I should have competed, and I more than likely would have won."

I say "J" should compete, because you never know who will win ???

Jay should not skip the Olympia. He's the only one that is close to Ronnie and if by any chance Ronnie is way off (it can happen, he's a human being) Jay can win.

Jay should stop competing for 5 years. Take that period to rest and get his big ass waist down. Thenn he can make a comeback. I just don't like jay's physique at all.. looks like a bloated cow with no symetry...

As a  Pro, competing is what you do.
Winning would be nice but staying on top of your game is number one. There can be only ONE winner, but what you do with losing determines what you gain from your mistakes.
We compete to win but reality is, the bigger the contest the tougher the competition. That doesn't mean you sit out until it hopefully gets easier or the Champion retires.
You do what you have to until it is time to move on in another direction.
Jay gets financially compensated inspite of losing.  Contracts, Prize Money, DVD's, T-shirts, Guest Posing, Photos, Seminars the works.
This my friend, is part of the success onstage.
He stops competing, the demand dries up and it's time to get a new job.
Out,
S. Ray

Spoken like a true champion shawn.  I see no reason Jay shouldn't compete.  #1 would be nice, but second to the most dominant Mr. O isn't bad either. ;D
