‘Top Gear’ Gets Attacked in Argentina

The news was out, and we all learned that the Top Gear boys were filming their latest special in Argentina with a trio of lovely sportscars. Everything seemed like it was going pretty smoothly…until Clarkson opened his dumb mouth. Or license plate, more accurately.

According to Car Throttle, the license plate number on Clarkson’s Porsche 928 reading ‘H982 FKL’ was seen by many as offensive and insensitive to the Falklands War. That conflict took place in 1982, when Argentina tried and ultimately failed to take the Falkland Islands in a war lasting 74 days. Opening the old wound made some locals pretty mad, as you can see in the video below. The trio, along with Range Rover camera cars were trying to get past the mob and out of the country with the help of a police escort.

The sad sad truth behind the Falken islands is that our crooked government was doing some bad shit at the time, and it was coming to light, so they decided to start this war to steer the spot light away away from the murdering they were doing.  So they sent boys on s suicide mission that almost killed 700 soldiers for Argentina, and over 200 for the British.  All within 74 days!!

Anyway, I think everyone here are sore loosers, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles,  nieces,  nephews,  daughters, grandaughter,  grandparents. ...ect...very sad...I remember the devestation .....all because of a corrupt government. .

The media in the country (thanks Murdoch) has demonised Argentina and in reality, they are friendly and a little loco.

Some of the best food (fillet steak and red wine) in the world is there - and a friend of mine and his mrs recently went to Buenos Aires and said they were astoundingly friendly towards them everywhere.
