Lori Did AMAZING..I wil say it was the first time ever going to any powerlifting event. Super impressed.

Lori lifted 1041 for the day. I don't know how she does it

Lance (out of chicago, think his last name kelabeck or something like that) squated 959 llb without batting an eye

Awwwwww newmom... thanks :)

Thanks for coming, it was awesome to see you!!  Looking forward to seeing you in CT next month too.  I'm not sure if I'm gonna compete but I'll be there!

It was a great meet for me.  Really good.  Couldn't have asked for much better.  I had some problems with my left arm leading up to the meet, and I had some problems with my bench shirt after I tightened it... I had to resort to Plan B and use a backup bench shirt at the meet.  I still got a good bench and had a great day all around.  Wanted to break 1,000 and ended up 1,041.  (148 weight class)

SQUAT
1. 363.7 pounds - good lift, sub-masters American record
2. 385.7 - no lift, not deep enough
3. 391.2 - good lift, sub-masters American record
4. 4th attempt to reset the record - 402.2 pounds, good lift

BENCH -
1. 225.7 pounds - good lift, piece of cake
2. 236.7 - good lift, piece of cake
3. 248 - good lift, piece of cake.

DEADLIFT
1. 369.2 pounds - good lift, sub-masters American record
2. 385.7 pounds - good lift, sub-masters American record
3. 402.2 - good lift, sub-masters American record
4. 4th attempt for a record - 413.2 pounds - no lift. Got it up and locked it out but got red lighted for hitching it.

Thanks again Dee... lemme know if you get the squat vids figured out.  I still have to upload the deadlift vids.

Hey Rip, I'm curious how much extra weight you get from your shirt? Back in the mid-90's I did a few bp meets with Anna Blakely, and she pushed a little over 300 at 132. She got about 70 to 80 out of her shirt. Nice lifts, btw ;)

Awesome job Rip! :)

I'm in a single ply super katana atm and I reckon I get nearly 70-80kg out of a shirt, nevermind lbs. lol. Very much depends on whether the person knows how to use the shirt and if they're wearing the right kind for their build etc

Depends on the shirt.... but that sounds like about right for a girl with a good shirt. As burn2live said, the guys can get quite a bit out of it!
My raw bench is maybe 220.  With the Titan Super Katana, I will be benching 300 in it.  I WAS benching 265 in it no problem about a month ago, and then I got it tightened too much... couldn't get it to work for this meet last weekend, so I had to bail on it and go with an Inzer Blast (old school).  I benched 248 easily and could probably get close to 260 out of that shirt, which actually surprises me.

So here's my 402 deadlift, I finally managed to pull this off my camera.  I got more in me for sure.  I almost got 413 and I was totally out of gas.

I know, I look really cute when I deadlift  ;D
