Well the Htpc stuff is cool but security is a issue. Well tv you can cut it I tried but went back to it depends on how you grew up I always had a tv so seemed lost with out it even while streaming.

Yea I tried tooo. works ok with Hulu Plus + Netflix + HBO GO... until game day ;D
