While there are many more long term Democrates in Congress, there are also many Republicans who served between 35 and 47 years.

You are right, Trump isn't a career politician. In fact, he's not a politician at all. And it is unlikely he'll ever be one, even had he chosen to make it his career.
One last thing, why is it that folks so often assign ownership where that hasn't been established. These other politicians you've trashed aren't mine. Mine is someone much younger and fresher. Someone with new ideas consistent with what most people want today (and this means more than just someone different).
