I think it is time to get rid of Jim Manion instead of giving him a lifetime achievement award. Boot Steve W and the other cronies out as well and we might get some decent judging.

Branch Warren is a travesty to bodybuilding, period. The judges are so clueless about judging that 'conditioning' is what they go by. Forget about calves, shape, beauty, etc.
One commentator remarked on how wide Branch looked from the back because he knew how to put his legs out wide. What a stupid statement and what a foolish thing for Branch to
do because it makes him look ridiculous. Only clueless judges would be impressed with that distorted physique.
Compton and McMillan were the top two. Dexter is minus calves.

Flex was like 20 years younger than Dexter in that photo and running all kinds of diuretics and God knows what else. Give more kudos to Dexter
