I thought Ferrigo actually looked better in the Pumping Iron days...
Thoughts on this?
In my opinion, the best Lou Ferrigno ever looked in terms of shape, symettry and conditioning was at the 1973 Mr. Universe. At the 74 universe, he was also good, but not as conditioned as in 73. At the 74 Mr. Olympia, he was shredded but lost some fullness and went up against Arnold who was probably at his fullest most muscular shape ever. In 75, Louie missed his peak and was a bit smooth. I think the 73 Louie versus the smaller 75 Arnold would have been close. In the 90's Lou looked in some poses way more impressive than in the 70's in terms of mass(except the silly calf implants) and thickness. This was probably due to a different drug regime and the addition of Growth hormone. However, due to his torso thickness, his arms didn't impress like they did in the 70's, and he lost some shoulder to waist taper due to a bigger gut. Sorry no pics posted here either.
