If they want a base in Afghanistan, then they can feel free to put one there.

I don't give a shit.

i'm trying not to be a reactionary bandwagon kneepadder.  i'm trying to see the POV that "we can't leave those bases".

but it's not there yet.  And if congress won't let rpaul do that anyway, what's the worry?

People can choose to ally themselves with whoever they want to. If they want to put a base there... go ahead... Let those guys spend all of that money.

Which they won't.

The neo cons are a dying breed.  That is a very weak attack article, if that is all the Standard can come up with on Ron Paul then they are going to have a tough time ahead.  Alex Jones has been proven right on a lot of his claims as well.  I would trust an alternative media guy like Jones a lot quicker than anyone in the MSM.

I would really love to see RP win a couple of these early primaries

RP vs Willard would be great fun to watch

Hey, BillO proved God existed because he can't explain the tides.

For some people, faith trumps fact.  Faith in leaders will trump facts to the contrary too.

You're a fan of Alex Jones, the 911 CT nut?  How shocking.   :)

This is an echo of Pat Buchanan’s 1990 claim that if the United States went to war against Saddam Hussein it would be on behalf of Israel, and that “kids with names like McAllister, Murphy, Gonzales, and Leroy Brown” would be the ones doing the fighting and dying. The assertion that American soldiers are risking their lives to protect Israel and not the United States
