Title: Hulk Hogan wants one last match

I think he needs to stay retire...
He has called out already... Cena and Austin
I think he also called Brock out...
He still thinks it's 80's / 90's

He'll never work another match.

He's just trying to stay as relevant as he can.

I hope so..
Vince needs the publicity..
So I wouldn't see it pass him to get one last dollar out of Hogan at this upcoming wrestlemania...

Hogan needs to go away.  His body would shatter like glass if he actually tried to have another match.

He wanted to do something in the ring at this year's Mania, but couldn't pass the physical.

That was a conspiracy because everyone in the WWE fears those 24 inch pythons, brother.

The training, the vitamins, the prayers...Hulkamania would run wild.

With the major sports: baseball, football & basketball, once your skills deteriorate, either you retire or get cut.

With wrestling, guys with name value can manage to eke out a living on the Indy circuit or in Hulk's case, just being Hulk. This is what keeps these guys hanging around when they should've moved on to something else a long time ago.

I heard Ricky Morton on Austin's Podcast, recently. The guy is pushing 60 and still wrestling in small shows.

I look at those old videos of Hulk when he first broke into the WWWF...what a fucking monster.

It just seems like every year he became a little less impressive as a physical specimen after that initial breakthrough.

Of course his popularity increased to a ridiculous point during the mid to late 80's but from a size standpoint it's not really comparable.

His match with the rock was the perfect way to end it.  I don't think he'd be able to replicate something like that.

If he ever did any type of match, I'm thinking a tag match, where he's on the apron the whole time, gets tagged in at the end and throws a few punches and pins someone.
I cant see him doing a leg drop after all his surgeries.... Hopefully he stays out of any match though...

Yes!
I remember watching that match with my buddies. We all marked out hard.

The prick should have gone out on a high note. F*ck him, just the same.

He can face flair. Right hand punch vs chest chop until one passes out.

Well, now you know better than to think better.
 :)

Seriously, it was just cool to see the old guard get over like that - even if it was Hogan. We also weren't big Rock fans at the time, either. F'n "smarks!"

Met the man recently. My 6'3" friend was actually taller than Hogan when we met him. Hogan in his prime was a legit 6'6" guy.

Hogan/Lebron

He should've picked a more spine-friendly finishing move:

I'd heard the same, and with Michaels, it wouldn't surprise me the least bit.

If I remember correctly, there was talk of a tag match at WM30 between Hogan and Cena vs. Piper and someone else. A tag match is probably the most he could pull off.

I noticed this as well. I think it is due to him combing his hair back instead of to the side.

The Fed used to run a shit-ton of shows there! Didn't the Tunney's or Dupree's manage that market for/under WWF?

At one time, I knew a lot of that territorial structure/hierarchy stuff.

Yes, correct. The Tunney's ran the cards here in Canada mostly in Toronto. I remember during the eighties boom, we had a card in Toronto once a month.

Won't happen. If it was to be it would have happened already. His back is fried to the point if he takes one bad bump he will be in a wheel chair.

Maybe Hulkster will soon be spotted at bars alongside Iron Shiek trying to pay for tabs with WrestleMania 8x10's.

Hogan has always been smart...Warrior called it right when he said that Hogan's whole life is a work. He made a tone of money since he split from the gold digger bringing his net worth back up to the 10 mil range. Not too many people would have the brains to do that.

No Holds Barred, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure were ALL based on true stories.

Not many people know that.
