Craig and the King were just a bunch of crazy kids 'back in the day'. The verbal jousts, the trading of insults and threats of physical violence against each other, made great reading.
Bodybuilding fans are an intelligent bunch.They were aware that the sparring between these two athletes, was a 'big beat up' by the magazines just to sell more copy; and it did!
The fact is, the King and Craig shared a very relationship. They were warriors on the stage but buddies in the change rooms.
The fans miss the antics.
The boys careers have taken different paths of late. The King is struggling to rebuild a physique that has become distorted and grotesque by way of inappropriate pharmaceuticals.
Craig however, is still Craig. A scary, angry, violent, irrational man who has been spending a lot of time in isolation. The long periods of solitude has been good for Craig. It has provided him with the opportunity to reflect on the lives he has destroyed and the utter shame he has brought to this industry!
Bodybuilding will always have its dynamic characters; you can be sure of that!
