I knew Lenny in Passing as he trained at The Crystal Palace gym
My friends who trained there regularly Knew him well -
Let's just say Opinions Vary about Lenny
And not Many had Much negative To say to his face while he was Alive
Plenty want to Bad mouth him Since he Died.

I’ll tell you this much. I’m a big guy but I definitely wouldn’t want to rumble with Lenny. I think he had serious charisma and if he had lived longer he’d have been a very very good actor. I liked him from
What I saw and the fact he gave up the booze but his bullying aspect comes out quickly in the video posted. He would have dealt with Cockerill easily who is a bit of a blaggard but very likeable too.
You see the thing about these respected guys is they all had charm and nice qualities behind the bad. Treat people accordingly etc…
No disrespect to them but if we’re talking real stuff it’s about money and power and not how many lads you can knock out in the queue for the nightclub. I’ve been there done that.
Drug dealing always leads to misery. But if the Truth be told I know people in the small country of Ireland that people have never heard of in any newspaper that are making millions. It’s usually the gophers who they sponsor go down. Not them. Why? They’re connected at the top.
If you look at England or France or Holland (where I lived) it’s usually the foreigners who take over the drugs trade in the cities.
Look at Ireland. Hasn’t happened here because the Irish shoot to kill. A history of violence about to repeat itself. The Irish are a funny people. I think we’re different. Statistically we’re one of the safest countries on the planet but it’s not the truth as our gangland scene was off the charts. Tricks from the IRA make criminals good at hits and bombings and gadaffi sent the country much more ammunition than needed for a full scale war and I’m sure some people still can access it.
