It's sad really,  I've spent time in Thailand, and had nothing but positive experiences there, however if you get involved with the wrong people (Tony Huge possibly) the wrong women (prostitutes/bar girls) in combination with legal pharmaceuticals available to you, things can get sketchy very fast. He should have stayed with his dad in Europe,  he most likely will still be alive.

I lived there for a little over a year.

Thailand is a very easy place to get into a lot of trouble.

Whenever guys move to Thailand or the Philippines for an extended period of time, it's always for nefarious purposes.

Whatever drugs he got looped into, became his undoing.

Just like 99% of the other people who venture there.

They go for the wrong reasons.

My guess is that he was snorting fake oxy's with a hooker, and that he OD's on fentanyl. Hooker then quickly escaped knowing he was dead. Lets see what the autopsy shows. Either that or he was doing some kind of stimulant and OD'd.

Absolutely, it honestly depends on the person, I started training at a gym there, 2 days later started dating a woman from that gym who was a personal trainer/yoga instructor, she became my tour guide, taking me to temples, parks, hiking, beaches, restaurants, malls, home cooked meals..I never got involved in all the stuff most dudes get into there..the bars, massage parlors, prostitutes, etc. I did some test, some B12, worked out, and hung out with the yoga instructor and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's a beautiful country, but if you get caught up in that party scene,  shit can get sketchy real fast.
