That poll included 1327 participants (almost 3 times as many as the mystery poll that you posted) and received these comments by the usual right winger on this board

I agree that voting in national elections is basically pointless but local officials have a direct effect on your community, and you elect them directly .. that’s worth going to the voting booth for.
