Title: Training with sore muscle.
Post by: herraisland on July 06, 2019, 03:03:17 AM
I took arms 2 days ago and im still sore. Is it stupid to train chest today, because my ticeps are still sore. Should i wait till they are completly healed or is it ok to go kill chest?

It can actually break the progress plateau. But if you over-train too long(weeks, months) you can develop permanent inflammation which makes workouts painful

It's not stupid.  Eat and hydrate and maybe pre-exhaust chest a little before pressing.

When I've had this happen, I've found if I continue to train as scheduled, but lighter, it actually helps speed up recovery the time.
