Most people say the opposite. The Front squat is awkward for some but hits the quads very nice. I never found it harder on my back because it encourages a more upright posture. Execution is therefor more strict. I had a shoulder problem and could not hold a bar behind my neck but could front squat. Less weight is used but i do not agree its harder on your back than standard back squats.

front squats saves lower back as you don't have to lean forward as much due to center of gravity is more forward,

I love the feeling, when I've been eating out the Mrs / or getting some head and she is massively wet and asks for the cock - she is soaking wet and the moment I put it in! BAAAM!!!!! Yes, but regular squats injury your low back so...
I usually can only handle two plates each side in front squats, in regular squats i hit 3 plates in a good day. Rock bottom.
The difference in poudages make regular squats more dangerous for me.

well it is really obvious to me that i had all my back injuries from front squats, or cleans or some sort of jerky move like power clean
squats i did them real hard but never injury

well not every exercise is suited to everyone. I think you are either not suited to them ..or.. you have been training wrong.

yes like me too...but...it targets the quads great with emphasis on the Vastus Internus muscle.

Do Hack squats with your Barbell...squats with Dumbbells...step ups ... lunges....Deadlifts....y ou can do lots with free weights.
