"In recent months, Moonves has become a prominent voice in Hollywood’s #MeToo movement. In December, he helped found the Commission on Eliminating Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality in the Workplace, which is chaired by Anita Hill. “It’s a watershed moment,” Moonves said at a conference in November. “I think it’s important that a company’s culture will not allow for this. And that’s the thing that’s far-reaching. There’s a lot we’re learning. There’s a lot we didn’t know.”
When will these guys learn that all the ass-kissing and verbal (and financial) acrobatics will not save you when bitter, disgruntled, FACELESS women conspire to come after your wallet for things that only happened in their heads 30 years ago.
This "movement" isn't helping womens' rights or bring abuse to light; it's doing the complete opposite and showing just how frivolous and incredibly uninspiring female-to-male accusations really are. They're literally built on sand 99% of the time; know why? Because real rapes, assaults, and abuse are generally reported shortly after the events and dealt with by the justice system. If someone keeps that to themselves for 10 years, oh well, that was your decision; but those cases might still be legitimate with enough circumstantial evidence.
These accusations are total and utter bullshit, and have been from day one. Not a single one of these powerful or rich men have been convicted of anything other than Cosby, and no one believes that show trial for allegedly fingering a scarecrow-looking bulldyke 14 years ago while she stayed at his place was a real case, which is why it sank the first time around despite years of prep and prerial discovery. What they left out of the trial is she stayed in touch with him long after the supposed event and never sued or accused him of anything until Gloria Allred talked her into it for a big payday $$$.
The rest of these stories? All crap.
Men are going to decide whether they put their money and freedom behind getting laid, or trying to, because no piece of ass is worth what these guys (and millions of others on a smaller scale) are going through. It's basically legalized terrorism and there's no recourse for it; even acquitted or never-charged people are basically finished.
