Wall Street Pete, haha. The far left has no clue. They are making sure the dem party is fractured for years to come.

This is what happens when "moderates" let TV airtime, buzzwords and twitter posts change the party. I think old white dems truly fear these people and are just another casualty to appeasement. It doesn't work. You have to beat it back. What used to be a secret within the party is now out there for all to see and it's ugly. Trump flushed this out via TDS.

Warren says Bloomberg 'has to answer' for alleged sexist remarks

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Monday that former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg “has to answer” for alleged past sexist remarks.

Warren told reporters at a campaign event in Fort Madison, Iowa, that her fellow presidential candidate needs to address past allegations that he created a hostile work environment for women at his company, ABC News reported.

“When women raise concerns like this, we have to pay attention,” Warren said, according to ABC News. “We have to listen to them, and if Michael Bloomberg has made comments like this, then he has to answer for them.”

The Massachusetts progressive also called for the women who signed nondisclosure agreements with Bloomberg’s company to be released from the contracts so they could to talk about the past allegations.

“I think [nondisclosure agreements] are a way for people to hide bad things they've done. And I think that women should be able to speak,” Warren said.

Warren’s remarks come after ABC News reported that several lawsuits alleged that Bloomberg made sexist comments in the 1990s, making women uncomfortable in the workplace.

The presidential candidate has denied the accusations, saying Sunday that his company has an “enviable record” of gender equality.

"There will always be somebody that’s not happy, but we are -- we do very well in terms of attracting men and women to come to work in the company, and the retention rate with both of them is good as I think any real company," Bloomberg said, according to ABC News. "So, I’m very proud of what we do."

The Hill reached out to Bloomberg’s campaign and company for comment.

Interesting move. Not sure it goes anywhere but let's see if her anemic numbers shift at all.

Gabbard casts lone ‘present’ vote on impeachment

Tulsi Gabbard, the Hawaii congresswoman seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, voted “present” Wednesday on both articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, making her the only member of the chamber not to vote “yes” or “no.”

Her vote wasn’t a complete surprise: prior to the vote, Gabbard introduced a resolution calling for Trump’s censure, rather than impeachment.

Democratic leaders didn’t know how Gabbard would vote Wednesday or if she was even in Washington. But when the vote took place, Gabbard came into the chamber, interacted with just one or two lawmakers and then left immediately after voting — going out through a GOP door.

In a lengthy statement released by her presidential campaign, the Hawaii Democrat framed her votes as decisions that put country before party.

“One may not always agree with my decision, but everyone should know that I will always do what I believe to be right for the country that I love,” she said. “After doing my due diligence in reviewing the 658-page impeachment report, I came to the conclusion that I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no.”

Gabbard added that while she believes “Trump is guilty of wrongdoing,” she couldn’t vote “yes” because the process was partisan and “fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country.”

I don't think any dems are trying to get your vote?

No - they are appealing to the broke bums and layabouts and do-nothings who want free stuff from others.

I actually agree with that and can't deny it's a consistent part of the democratic message.
However, the millitary industrail complex wastes 100x as much of our tax $$.
Plus, the absurd tax loopholes  for big multi-national corporations and it's clear where the biggest give-aways go.

For me, it's a simple matter of picking the party and policy that promotes :
worker rights ( unions), fair pay, retirement bennifts and health care.

Over the past 30 yrs, we've had retirement pensions gradually disapear as
corperations make record profits. Today, most companies only help provide access to a 401K plan that YOU pay into.
Meanwhile the top executives retire rich making their $$ off the backs the workers.

Please know, I applaud anyone getting rich . I just think the workers need to get a fair deal in the process.

So shortsighted and naive.

You make it sound like savings accounts and investments are only available to Wall Street CEOs.

When you should be questioning work ethic, career choices, laziness, government handouts, and libidiots taking out $300,000 in student loans for a liberal arts degree.

So naive.  First off - no one gets defined pensions anymore since the economy is different.  People dont stay in jobs for 20-30 years any more.  Secondly, false the Military budget is not nearly the HHS budget and is one of the main roles of a govt.  Yes there is waste and it should be controlled as much as possilble same as any other govt agency.

And most importantly - if a "worker" or anyone else for that matter feels they are underpaid while "the rich executive" gets rich - said person is free to seek employment elsewhere or . . . . wait for it - like many of us did - went into business for themselves.

On THAT point we agree.
Please know, I don't agree with every detail on either side.
College loan forgivness for a 300k liberal arts degree is nuts!

BUT the republican health care and retirement pension plan is " You're on your own"

Ironic how neither party seems to base policy on the middle 80% of us.

And the Democrat Healthcare plan is:

I work my ass off to pay the medical bills from Tijuana Juan and his seven illegal immigrant kids.

Bullshit to that and the ghetto blacks farming babies for a bigger government check.

-So shortsighted....as if some liberals were the only folks who have questionable work ethics, make poor career choices, are prone to laziness, qualify for government handouts, and take out student loans to pay for degrees they will probably never need. News flash, there are just as many conservative leaning folks making some these same choices.
