Paul Heyman interview - including his 5-yr plan for TNA:

The UK Sun recently conducted an interview with Paul Heyman in which the former ECW mastermind detailed his original strategy for TNA had he ended up there.

Interesting.  I wonder what he meant by presenting it differently?

Heyman the one that started Austin drinking beer in the original ECW.
Heyman was the one who found Brock Lesner.
Heyman was the one who started the "hardcore stuff" in his original ECW.
Heyman was the one who found Kurt Angle and convinced him to wrestle "Kayfabe" style and make money.

See my point here?  ;)

What I like most about Heyman is that he never REALLY broke kayfabe with ECW...people might have thought wrestling was fake, silly or whatever, but I can remember the first time seeing ECW and being like "damn" if that is fake, I want no part of that!  Not to mention his angles were always fairly simple and always used to build serious heat before a big blowoff.  Heyman always "bashed" old school as a way to get his product over, but he at his most basic, was very oldschool in a lot of ways.

And alot of people STOLE his ideas and took credit for them.

Wonder how the book he is working on with Brock Lesnar will turn out


The guy can be brilliant. TNA's loss. Watched the most recent offering with the big take over and Hogan and Rick Flair strutting about. It was painful.

I so want them to succeed but they are cranking the suckage up to "I have to change the channel" levels.
