I recently moved to Italy, but not because of anything bad about the U.S.

I am thinkin about the carribean if things start getting really bad. America already has a president that is on the edge of being able to put an end to publized critization of what he does and says.

Yes I think about it all of the time but where can an American go make a living straight off the plane without being a citizen.  I would like to drop out of society and go to the Caribbean but without a guarantee of the means to make a living it is a bold move and sucking cock is out of the question..lol.

I guess I may be more financialy stable than yourself, to where I wouldn't need to rely on blowing people. I could start a business that covers a need of the people and make a living off that.

lol.  But how would you start this business?  Most places have laws and in Mexico for instance you have to have at least 50% ownership with a Mexican citizen.

And as a leader you mean someone that surrounds himself with people that have a socialist agenda? I am not puttin this on Obama, it started far before him.

His agenda, which is not his own by the way, goes FAR beyond socialism.  Only the naive believe the president of the US has anything to do with where the country is going or has any power whatsoever.  He, like every president we've had in the past 40 years is just a front man puppet actor doing the bidding of those who are truly in control.

And to answer the OP's question, yes I've thought about it more and more.  I have opportunity to work in other countries, but I have close family in the states that I don't want to be too far away from.

The real question is, why if you are so fed up with your country and where it's going do you not do anything about it?  The entire reason the US declared its sovereignty from England was to take a stand against tyranny and oppression.  The same thing is happening slowly but surely again and there are very few willing to rise up and make a stand against it.  This has been going on for decades and we've all been suckered into believing the lies spewed forth by the government and controlled media.  We're programmed to keep our heads down, don't make a fuss, don't be noticed, just do your job, come home, zombie out in front of the tube and be "happy" we live in such a great country.  So much lies, mis-truths, misinformation has been bombarded on us we're left with not knowing truth from fiction and can't think for ourselves.  This is classic propaganda at it's worst and has been slowly re-educating us over decades until we become completely subservient and complacent to things we normally would be outraged by.

I agree. He has people controling him with money now. It is sad we are given the right to revolt against the government and yet we won't. In a true democracy, the government is afraid to offend the people.

and what is wrong with socialism?  Would you rather have capitalism where money is the god of the people?  Do you like capitalism and people hoarding money for themselves?  Not too humane of a system.

Let me ask you something of the same.... Would you love to have someone that does all the thinking for you so you have no original thought. Go for it and watch it fail.

And nothing will change.  That's why you are as bad as the side you oppose so much.  Your eyes are closed to the truth and you wallow in delusion.
