someone will get it right eventually.

Ron paul, barr... obama...

obama was for change, barr was for domestic common sense, and RP was for overseas common sense and financial responsibility.

maybe one day, a guy will come along with all of the attributes and no religious zealoutry, seccessionism, or other nonsense to alienate voters.

Not holding my breath tho.  Methinks after 8 years of obama, it'll be 8 years of some southern repub governor with a nice drawl once again.

The democratic and republican parties are too strong to allow a 3rd party candidate to get in unless some unpredictible event happens.  The whole purpose of the 2 parties is to raise money.  Unless a 3rd party candidate is independently superwealthy (like Ross Perot), its going to be nearly impossible for the 3rd party candidate to have enough $ and political support to get in.  I hate our system and I hate how hard line republicans and democrats see everything as black & white, us vs. them.  Bullshit.  Its about people, they serve us.  They must be responsible and stop wasting our tax dollars.  Sometimes the party is wrong on some issues...anyone who is blindly partisan is an idiot and has been played by big politics.
