Why do you always talk about your Phil’s width..?

It is the only flow you see on him isn’t it..?

Well, ok then, but Who told you that bodybuilding is a width game..?

I don’t think there are any human beings that are as wide as Denis Wolf or Paul Diltte!! Have they won any ASC or O..? Let me help you NO.

There is NO bodybuilder that has no weak point e.g, Kai: wide waist – big gut – thin triceps (while its pose) – Synthol looking biceps – short torso. (though, I like his physique)

However, it always comes to whom is as complete as possible in the departments of size, symmetry, proportions- condition – dryness – hardness – all body parts – shape.

I think Phil got them all, So in my eyes he was the WINNER of the 2010 ASC.  8)

Heath is doing a great job on overcoming his flaws, specifically that shoulder width problem. His chest is still behind the rest also. Problem is width or thickness have always been on the judges list as highly important point. It's not enough to make you win (clearly Dillett comes ti mind) but it can prevent you from winning. Think Ronnie for width and Dorian for thickness; those guys have won Os even past their prime thanks in part because they still had this in their arsenal.

his only clear weakness in my mind is his lower chest shape and the overall size of his chest.. other than that he is amazing, even his calves are good (and great for a black man)..

I think his arms are so thick they take away from his shoulder width, some of the thickest arms ever.

He brought up his delts (which cere good already) but he balanced it out with his arms by adding a bulk that minimizes that width problem and by keeping his waistline in check (those obliques don't look as big as they used too), he's doing fine. Remains his chest which is still weak compared to the rest. But in a callout against guys who are naturally wide, he still might lose a few needed points. If not for that, he not only would have won that AC this year, but he would have won by a countrymile.

I agree with you, unfortunately judging criteria is not like this. It also explains how Dorian was able to get away with so many Olympias.

really truth...The guy had a incredible burst in size in just a couple of years, have a controled midsection, one (if not THE best set of arms nowadays since Lee Priest is more or less retired), very good condition and complete body...

If width would the best thing in the world, Olive Burke would have 10 O´s
