on a positive note i am finally cleared to return to work after my vision issues. 5 weeks at home isnt all its cracked up to be especially when you cant drive.

The Olympia Party was fun but he weekend overall was extremely hard for me with the sudden death of head expiditer, Steve Stone. The shows won't be the same without him but we are going to try to keep his vibe and care for the athletes going. He recommended me to join his team should they need help so I will be doing some expiditing this upcoming year as well as protan. Lana taught me...JUMP AND THE NET WILL BE THERE!!! I feel like I keep taking plunges!!!!!
Anyway Steve's death kind of pushed me over the edge with held back feelings from my mom's death this year. I have found that now that travels have slowed down I cry a lot more and miss my mom alot more. I cna't imagine what my poor Lana must feel.

Anyway...the party was fun and being with Momma Lana was a highlite! I also had a great day with NIcki and Dave on MOnday after the O, shopping and hanging out. We had a fabulous dinner at Tao that night...it was real nice.

I have gotten to take a bit of a vacation also...back toTampa (my home away from home)...friends and family down there that help me heal inside!!!
So all...I am looking forward to 2009!!! For now, taking care of business at home, organizing, taking care of dad and getting recharged for next season!

I wrote her to ask if her egg whites came from free range or battery caged hens and she never answered. I can only imagine her chickens live in their own filth.

To the guys who are bad mouthing Lana; you don't even know her.  All you read are words on a screen but you don't really know WHO she is. Lana IS a very caring and thoughtful person.  Her thread is composed of REAL people who are sharing thoughts with each other.  If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Lana; I believe your opinions of her would change dramatically.  Don't go around bashing Lana when you never even met her.  "When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace."
