I have had words with mike ..
but now i have nothing but love for him .. because i can tell one thing for sure .. he loves training... and i love training too and that i respect..
also he has turned his phsyque around and with it changed his original attitude... on that infamous thread....

Haha its a shame that i didnt see that thread, it was just deleted when i joined getbig.  I heard that was one of the biggest meltdown's in getbig history. :D  That was 5 years ago i believe.







I think that thread might have been deleted in the 240 meltdown that happened a couple of years ago :-\

And I'll bet to this day you give shoulders their own day, and you train biceps with more intensity and sets than you do quads.  Am I right?

i don't think so, my bet is that Mike trains legs harder than anything because he knows they're a lagging part for him.

2 things though-

They haven't improved noticably in the last 2 years since he's "focused" on them.

and

He trained for 25 or 30 years while skipping them.  Chances are if he never fixed the lag then, he never well.  Just being honest, Dave.  Old dogs rarely learn new tricks.  He probably spent those 30 years telling folks that he trains legs hard.  Just as he says he does now.

you so seated calf raises for high reps...that seemed to work a bit for me

i do that, matter of fact today i did 5 heavy sets of 10 on standing and then did two sets of 100 on seated with one 45 on the thing, what i do is do as many reps as i can and then rack the weight for a few seconds and then keep going until i get to 100, i usually get 60 the first time, 25 or so the second time and then sets of 10.
