Jay is simply going through the motions at this point. No aggression in his workouts...his exercise selection resembles the average 50 year old man on HRT at my gym... If the online community didn't call him out in advance, he would have pulled out of the Olympia two weeks ago. At first I felt bad for him, but he deserves whatever placing that fits. Even if it's 5th or 6th.

The Jay of the past (01'-10') wouldve been doing heavy T-Bar Rows, Bent Barbell Rows, Deadlifts, and Heavy Dumbell Rows.



In this video, from what I watched of it, he only did the dumbell rows.

Damn, I totally agree about him just going through the motions. Does he even go to Golds anymore for the heavier weights? All his workouts are at LVAC. Cutler was never the strongest bodybuilder,  but he used to train damn hard and for a long time too. Kinda hard to watch him in these videos when I used to see him bust his ass training. All about the pump with these bodybuilders now....boring as fuck to watch...

I think you're right about this.

Jay kinda reminds me of an actor that does one too many sequels.  A stallone or Arnold doing that add'l Rocky or Rambo or T4 movie... past his prime, just going thru it for the contractual side of it

I've been saying this all along -

At 10 weeks out, Jay looked 20 weeks out.  He was definitely behind track and he has just about caught up.  He did it.  However, the amount of stress he has had to put his body through seems to be a lot more than what the other guys are going through, as well as a lot more than what he went through other years.  Seeing the daily videos only verifies this.

We've seen Jay training at 1:30 AM, using profanity against Shawn Ray, etc.  A whole new Jay.  New levels of intensity, YES.  But also new levels of stress and pressure.  he's done so much in the last 8 weeks... and the O is only 15 days away now.  I believe, from looking at that video that Jay is gonna get the flu in the next few days.  Dude just looks way more exhausted, stringy, and weak than he should at this point.  Way more than the other guys have at this point.

I hope he takes a few days rest this week, consumes a lot of Vitamin C, and stays healthy.  Dude looks beyond exhausted on that video.  The blank stare.  The FLATNESS of his muscles... Ramy and Phi are pumped and rounded, halfway through a back video.  Compare this to the Ramy back training video from a few days ago, completely different.

Jay has proven himself to be a warrior by training this hard and making this kind of change over 8 weeks.  No doubt about it.  Stay healthy Jay!  You look great - have a cheat meal and take a day or two off.  Let your body heal a bit.  You'll do fine at the O.

Jay needs to get top 5, at best 3rd spot, to leave the "sport" gracefully. He's probably clinging on that to put himself through that shit one last time. That's most likely the last of Jay we'll see as a pro.

Ive been a Cutler fan since the '99 Arnold and yet even i was about to slate him for what hes doing and looking like. However if that pic is recent, i.e. last day or 2 he is looking phenomenal compared to what i thought he would come in like. Dont know if its enough to win or place top 3 but if this is his last hurrah then a valiant effort indeed.

I can't believe the shit talking. Jay is suffering 90s style as it should be. Also about him going through the motions, he doesn't need to do like Ronnie full blast 3 weeks out. You do not build anything precontest.
All that is being done is getting in shape/ condition. Massive weights not needed.
If he was going balls to the wall and tore something you bitches would say he shouldn't have been training like that.

I believe you lose density and thickness if you don't do at least a FEW heavy sets the last few weeks. Doesn't have be 20 heavy sets but at least 2 or 3 per body part.
