Just saw The Cult in Boston. One of my favorites.
Prong is another band that deserves more attention.

Indeed. On heavy covid rotation.

Motley Crue and Poison got all the attention then, but Ratt and Dokken were way better musically.

Saw Dokken about 4 years ago I think.. of all the 80's bands I think he was the most disappointing on a reunion tour. It was like a parody of his former self. But yeah, back in their prime, they rocked it.

That would have been without George Lynch and Jeff Pilson. Way different band without those guys.

True, but when Don puts a foot up on the monitor for half the show and half heartedly sings while commenting on the pizza he has waiting on him back stage several times I'm not sure that could save it :)

I know you're joking but I did see them last year and I'll be damned except for a poem the tall guy read, they really rocked and still had the vocals.

i saw dokken as part of a combined concert with whitesnake and the scopions. dokken opened up and attendance was low during his hour or so. he bitched at the crowd every other song or so saying stuff like i had more people in my living room and such. it filled up when the other two acts hit the stage. he did a decent show despite his complaining.
