Word is that Angle is done with TNA and will leave in December as he will honor his contract. Royal Rumble anyone???

Apparently, because of Angle's physical state, and perhaps his past legal issues, WWE doesn't believe he's worth the risk.

In the old days, he'd be back, for sure, but this is a different WWE, one that is trying to maintain a corporate image.

Physically hes more than capable of running in with Rusev standing alone and doing a great job. Its Trip that blocks it all, hes a POS. Angle has shown hes ready & able to do a job, even a light workload would reap immense benefit from a fan & company POV, crowd interaction would actually be there for 5-10 minutes.

Bad move to just let him go by the wayside....

I'm with you. I'd love to see him come back and get in Brock's face.

What keeps TNA going?

First TNA is owned by Robert Carter. If you don't know Mr. Carter he is a billioniare. To put things in perspective. Vince McMahon is worth 350 million dollars, Mr. Carter is worth over 4 billion. The Carters makes their money in energy, which means they will never run out of it. The Carters bought 70% of TNA for 250 thousand dollars from the Jarretts. Jeff Jarrett owns 30% of TNA still today. At that time TNA's value was about 350 thousand dollars. The Carters threw 6 million dollars into TNA to improve talent and production values. TNA, grew so fast over that first year that they were able to pay back the 6 million in one year.

What many fans don't know is that twice now the Carters have turned down offers for TNA. The Nielson ratings company offered the Carters 60 million dollars less than 4 years ago to buy TNA.

Currently, TNA's estimated value is 150 million dollars. When you consider that the Carters bought TNA for 250k and in less than 10 years the company is now worth 150 million. You are doing something right.

How does TNA make all their money? You would be correct if you think TNA has struggled in the United States. They have! However, What most fans don't know is that TNA is just as big over seas and in some countries even bigger than the WWE. TNA could not sell one ticket in the united states and they would still make a killing overseas.

TNA is the fastest growing wrestling company in the history of pro wrestling. They have accomplished in 10 years what took the WWE 35 years to accomplish. Of course the internet helps a great deal with that. Another fact many people dont know is that TNA was the first pro wrestling company to use Twitter, facebook, myspace and Youtube to promote and even broadcast shows. The WWE has followed TNA's lead as has many other promotions. At one point TNA was the most viewed channel in youtube history and still has more views than the WWE.

TNA is using the same tatic that WCW and WWE used to get big. Starts with house shows in small markets to small crowds, TV tapings in a studio or auditorium setting and then slowly moved to doing live TV in bigger arena's.

TNA is taking IMPACT live on the road and hopefully over time they will gather more of those former WCW fans and wrestling fans that didnt jump to WWE when WWE bought WCW.

Also, one of the biggest reasons why TNA was able to make so much money over the last 10 years is because to tape shows at the IMPACT zone only cost them 30k a month for 4 shows.

To give you some perspective on that, for what it cost the WWE to tape one episode of RAW, TNA can tape 4 episodes of IMPACT."
