Dude come on, Bush borrowed ridiculous amounts of money. Not to mention the little socialist stitch called "bailout" at the end of his presidency.

You are nothing more than the result of right wing propaganda indoctrination.

I was against the bailout from the beginning and I made that clear. But again, thats NOTHING compared to what Obama is proposing.

I've been tracking the Samsung LN52A650 for about a year.  Started around 3 grand, I figured I'd buy it when it got to around 1,700.

Online retailers currently carry it for $1850-$2000.  I've seen it at Circuit City for as low a $2,000 in the past.

Yesterday, I went in and TVs were 10% off original prices.  The only one they had was the floor model at an additional 10% off.  The trouble is, the list the original at $2,499 so the two 10%s off make it $2,000 for a floor model.

I didn't see many good deals that couldn't be beat online, and that includes shipping.

Pretty much how it went in Phoenix....I kept checking back at the three stores that were here.  Got to the point where things were 40% off.  That may seem great but when you look at what you can get online versus the stuff at the store the savings arent that great.  Plus, order online...not only will it be insured...but paying with credit card doubles the warranty from the manufacturer.

check out bensbargains.net for some decent coupon codes for online retailers/wholesalers.

10% off was the deals, and off regular price items, they weren't good deals at all.  We walked around, looked for items, and left.  I get better deals via coupons and sales items from Costco, Office Depot and other places.  Just be patient and via the mail or online, the deals will come.

However, that being said, Circuit City in Woodland Hills was very busy, with the line to checkout close to 20 people long, and a lot of traffic.  People were buying things, even at 10% off.

They said that this week will be 10%, next week 20%, week after that 30% and so on, until everything is done.  I expect this store to be out of items in about 4 weeks or so.

That's how it was here when their first store shut down. I looked around and left...nothing was that big of a deal.

Yesterday, I went from a twenty five year old 14" CRT TV in my bedroom to a 26" HDTV and I'm loving it!  Plus I got a cheap DVD player to go with it!   :D

Too bad Circuit City doesn't sell muscle videos--or pornography!  ;D

I was against the bailout from the beginning and I made that clear. But again, thats NOTHING compared to what Obama is proposing.

You are more out of touch than Bush is...Bush came into the presidency with TRILLIONS of dollars of surplus and within the eight years he was in the white house he is now leaving america 11.5 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt...At least 5 to 10 million jobs lost...two wars going on that have cost 4 Trillion at this point...has caused international outrage at americas foreign policies, support of that god awful israel and the slaughter of Millions in Iraq and Afghanistan...ARE YOU RETARDED OR SOMETHING...So far as Obama goes..the guy has done nothing yet and officially is NOT in the white house so all of this jaw flapping you are doing in his regard is without merit or support. At least the Obama wants to do things to help the country from the ASSHOLES that have fucked america up.... The BAILOUT has cost 8 TRILLION already..do the math and add up all of the bailouts that have been done up until now and it rings in at an astounding 8 TRILLION DOLLARS. Thisis on top of the already mentioned debt Bsh caused. DAMN you asshole are too much...how do you managed to wipe your asses after a shit. If your tiny brains can't comprehand small things, then the grander things are out of the question. Just know this...if Obama's plan can't get america going again....PREPARE TO STAND ON A SOUP LINE FOR YOUR RATIONS VERY SOON....and you can thank Bush for that.....

Welcome to the 21st century.   ;)

LOL  It’s not as bad as it sounds.  We have four TVs in the house; two of them are old CRT.  Obviously, I was in no hurry to replace them but if I saw a good buy I would upgrade.  Yesterday, I saw a good buy—for one of the TVs.  So that’s one down and one to go.  :D

Almost any camera you find in the store will be 8 mega pixels.  The things you need to think about now are price, size, and form factor.  I would get one of these.

You might wanna consider going all the way with a DSLR instead of a compact. Much more fun and better pictures.
Most medium/high end compacts are in the price range of cheaper DSLR's anyway.

Good call.  I check that site and slickdeals.net daily.

Yes, the CC by me was packed as well.  People must not know the deals they can get elsewhere.

Oh Brother ::) Considering Obama proposed a TRILLION DOLLAR spending spree that makes Bush's spending look like a yard sale, you might want to reconsider that little cartoon.

In 2 more days........We're f**ked.

actually....in two yrs he'll still be cleaning up the mess of the last 8 yrs.  in fact...that will take his whole first term. .

Circuit City intends to lay off more than 30,000 workers. If they haven't already.
