And shave, that beard is out of control.

He was the instructor.   He is one of the guys who runs the SFAS selection course at Ft. Bragg.

Conditioning day.  Sucked since the program I'm currently into usually only does 8-12 minute circuits for condition.

2 set of each for warmup:
1 min airdyne
90/90 hip flow (this is great)

30 sec stretch up from bottom squat
inchworm x 10m
lunge x 10m

30 min non stop circuits AMRAP:
40 ft sled pull with rope
10 ab raise off bench
40 ft sled push
10 KB swings with 70lb
100 ft sandbag bear hug walk
10 push up
300m shuttle run

4 set:
DB Hammer curl x 12
Band press down x 12

The older I get, the more tight my hips are getting.  I HAVE to get better at mobility, in the hips, low back, and shoulders.

I'm just super lazy with that part of it.

Nice.

I am starting week 10 of a 12 week Soflete strength cycle, after completing the second de-load week.

I'm very interested to see what happens.

My wind kind of sucks for running though.

Had a 20 set of 3 rep box squats.  3 reps every 45 sec for 15 min.

Felt tightness on inner thigh on set 13, 14, 15.....set 16 made me shut it down.

Hopefully it's just a mild strain and nothing more.

With weight or bodyweight? 20  sets is a bit much.

Weight.

This current program I'm following has been mixing this stuff in.

Some weeks would have a cadence like this:

Squats:  3,3,3,3,3   Work to a 3 rep maximum over 5 ets

Others have the one I listed.  The caveat is they want you to pick a weight you can start and use the entire time.  So it's not a max.  I don't know the math behind it either, but I remember Simmons advocating for say, box squat, 10 x 2 every minute on minute....It's just some kind of volume play.

I actually liked the cadence.  Hard, but didn't bury you with your heaviest stuff.

It was most fun on bench, least fun on rack pulls.

You keep an abacus nearby? I lose track after 4-5 sets. :-\

Lol, funny you mention it, but I painted an 8x8 section of my wall with chalkboard paint.

I totally use that during these sets.

Hahaa I would need to as well. I don't even count reps. It's funny because I use the weight increases to keep track of sets.

It's easy to keep up when it's every minute on minute.

When it's every 45 sec, I'm like...wait, what, oh shit...
