USA is churning out 100's of no mark pro's, ive said it many times, how do you lot get so many pro cards, non of these would stand a chance getting top 3 even at a british or euro show

Not that he looks bad but something isn't right with this category cause to me it looks like they're practically giving away pro cards.

What are you on about bro?   ???  What pro, who???  the guy does not get a pro card at this show. The Usa'a and the Nationals, that's it, oh and the North America's that are shared with Canadians, not the JR nationals.

And besides the US is the third most populated country in the world and it has 5 times the number of bodybuilders as the the countries that are more populated. Come on, saying they give away too many pro cards is ludicris, they give out so many cause the pro qualifier's shows have literally one thousand competitors, of course they have to give out lots of pro cards compared to the England nationals that probably brings in 150 competitors.

It's all relative

YES you are right in terms of how the physiques look but in terms of how the IFBB judges judge, well the US guys win more pro shows then the rest of the world combined so we can not say they give away to many pro cards when the US pros are crushing the ifbb pros from the rest of the world in IFBB pro shows.

You see what I am saying, I personally like the EURO look a hell of a lot better then these bloated bellies and synthol physiques you see in the US but based on the IFBB judging criteria and how they judge shows they certainly are not giving the US guys to many pro cards cause they are winning.

My good friend Vadim predicted that in few years Arab will win Olympia. Now that Ramy has crushed NY pro I think his prediction might turn out to be true. If he was correct then Ramy is just first among many to come.

Vadim claimed that Arabs have tons of money and unlimited resources, drugs are legal and easily attainable there. The moment some arab sheik decides that he wants his "boy" win Mr Olympia americans stand no chance. They have unlimited money for all the GH and drugs in the world and they can dedicate their lifes 100% to bodybuilding, without all these bullshit seminars, guest posings and so on.

You know, America is rich and bodybuilding industry is big there but let's face it, any supplement company is a joke compared to what sheiks have.

ah ok, my mistake.... i thought all the class winners won pro cards at this show, the other shows u mentioned that happens tho, ifbb shows elsewhere only the overall winner gets a pro card, theres been some realy good guys turn up year after year and come away with a class win but no big prize and i guarantee im taking about pro material,,, take a look of this guy for example, light heavy champ for past 2 or 3 yrs

Your good friend Vadim is an idiot. Who doesn't know what he is talking about. Because Samir Bannout already won the Olympia.
And genetics can mean more than the amount of money one puts in, just look at Down Hill.

I understand what you are saying but this guy Ramy is insane genetics.

He has a small waist, is wider then Cutler and Coleman and does not have a weak body part, talk about genetics. Also he is pound per height the biggest pro on the scene right now.

He is not close to Heath in terms of conditioning and that is why Heath will look better and expose Ramy a bit, No one is as shredded as Heath, he has condition down pat from head to toe.

Now if Ramy comes to nail his conditioning, he is the real deal

So the bet is that you win if Ramy "eventually" wins the O. So every time he loses we just have to wait until the next year. How do I win if I take the bet? Do I have to wait until Ramy retires without winning the O?

Come on guy's, don't fight for nothing !.

Fact is for the last 10 years (or so)on the IFBB Worlds (juniors/seniors/masters) championsip there is total domination of European & Arabic
competitors.Almost identical story at WABBA,NABBA,NAC,WBBF or WFF International championship , simply no American competitors.
So number of population is miningless !.
American bodybuilders dominated for long time, but not any more.
No , reason is not "better" juice, reason is hard work/training & determination (those who have balls & those who don't, very simple).
Nobody is preventing/stopping U.S. bodybuilders from entering mentioned International organizations contests.
In the good old day's American bodybuilders dream was competing at NABBA Mr.Universe, but today ???

I didn't see a "small waist" relative to his size--didn't have a good V-taper. He looks like a guy with average genetics, loaded up with syntholled shoulders (He must have read "The Dark Art of Syn" by Flex Wheeler)...and his back is a weak bodypart, and he lack quad separation.

Either you are trolling or you don't recognize history---Dillett, Fux, Ruhl, Federov, Wolf all were these big unstoppable juggernauts that were supposed to win and were better than everybody, turns out, that they were not. And Ramy is another hyped big guy. Once you break him down, he is not very impressive. Size wise yes, he is big, but break him down...

The only one that appears to be trolling is you cause no one is seeing anything you are saying, every pro on record that has talked about Ramy, say first and foremost that he has a tiny waist, including Jay Cutler who is says he is the real deal and could win the O

Not one of the guys you mentioned won his pro debut, not even one so your trolling again, not one of the guys you mention qualified for the Olympia twice already in only one pro show and not only that but with straight first to boot.

Your thoughts on the guy are completely in the minority here and you say I am trolling, wow, when it is all said and done, I will be more then happy to tell you ``i told you so``

He is granite hard but not super shredded and has a better back then Jay ever did and Jay had no problem winning the O and he is 10 times more impressive then anyone you mention, it is not hype when you win your pro debut sorry.

Heath was hype when he won his pro debut and look what happen, sorry but name one guy that was hyped before winning their pro debut and after that never did anything, you can`t can you?

all your points are thwarted  ;)

Breaking Rami down seems like exactly what you aren't doing.  You didn't "see" a small waist?  Holy weasle-word, I think you're looking for reasons not to like him.  (Makes me curious to know what you think of middle-easterners in general.)  You aren't recognizing that this guy is remarkably balanced and just as symmetrical as any other top Oly competitors.  And he's bigger than everyone else while being very hard.

What strikes me about all the guys you've listed (except Fux, whose career was cut short by a dramatic injury), is that while all were big, none of them has the balance and symmetry of Rami.  Even your criticisms, overstated as they are, are minor.  His back compares favorably to most of the Olympia's top guys and if it looks weak to you, it's only because it's not as freakishly developed as most of his other bodyparts. It's not weak, though:  Weak was/is Wolf's calves, Ruhl's triceps, Heath's width, or Jay's waist.  And lacks quad separation?  -- When you have unprecedented quad sweep like Rami, a little more separation is just icing on the cake, imo.  (Besides, as you may have noticed, extreme separation seems to be a quality that isn't as necessary today as it once was.)

Who cares where he comes from?  This is bodybuilding and bottom line, this guy is already an elite pro who should be in the top 5 at his first Olympia.  He could bring up his calves and could maybe lose a couple of pounds to be even sharper but when he does that, I see him winning the Olympia.

Look.. I like the physiques of the Middle East also but let's stop acting like only we Americans use synthol.. It's being used widely in the Middle East.. Look at ramy.. You think those delt caps are natural.. He'll no.. Look at the top shows in kuwait and else where and you will see the Arabs love their synthol.. They may not be " bloated" .. But they invest heavily in synthol..

Excellent post, you know exactly what you are talking about.

Now to add to your post, yes the man is symmetrical and yes his waist is tiny, Parker was out to get him from the get go.

Now as far as quad separation goes, sweeps counts ten time more then separation, in fact there is a knew trend with the ifbb judges rewarding quad sweep over every other bodypart and Ramy has the best sweep in the history of bodybuilding.

yes that`s right Parker, I have never in my life seen a better quad sweep ever.

The glare of the stage lights make it look like something but there is nothing in there.
To put synthol in the chest is pec tear waiting to happen, very foolish of anyone to do it in the chest.

1X, but Pro Mr.Olympia is NOT promoted as IFBB event , it's open to Ifbb Pro League competitors only.
I knew someone in AMI, & ha say that bloated belly would not win 2013 Olympia !?.

the reason why most of the pro cards go to people in the US is that most of the pro shows are in the US.  The IFBB thinks American fans would be more interested in American competitors.  this was even more true just a few years ago when the only non-North American show was the Australian Pro.

and it doesn't hurt that the owner of the pro IFBB and the owner of the NPC is the same guy.

TIM! OWNER????

yes.  very much so.  The NPC is designated a non-profit but it's still owned by Manion.  The pro IFBB is also a privately owned company, owned in part, if not entirely, by Manion.

maybe but that is not what they would admit to, they simply say that the pro card go where there is more competition and the US yields the most competitors hence they will yield the most pro cards.

Tim, I would point that IFBB Pro League & IFBB a 2 different "organizations" and noticeable many individuals don't
see difference.
Also is interesting that Rafael Sanotjas IFBB (amateurs) organize Pro Mr.Europe contest !.

Wow, you just made me feel real dumb  :(  :D  lmao, ya pretty stupid of me, lol, how about a 200 dollar bet he makes top 5 this year at the O, I can send the money to a mod and you too and whoever wins the bet takes the coin  ;)

Actually, I'm a big Ramy fan. More separation in the quads and over all condition he blows everyone else away. Politics permitting, and staying injury free, he's the next Mr. O. Not this year, though. Gotta pay your dues. It'll help if he learns English and spends some time in the US to get his face on the mag covers. But this year even though Kai is better it's still going to PHil.

But I agree with you. Top five at least. I think he'll come in third behind Phil and Kai unless they Jay pulls a miracle.
