The Republican base was awfully excited about Herman Cain and Condi Rice remains popular among their ranks. This doesn't seem to jibe with claims of widespread racism, but it may nonetheless be possible to square these two claims (I'm too lazy to think about the possibilities right now).

No, the left just lied their ass off (as usual) about Cain's supposed affair. After he dropped out that story went away the very next day as was never heard from again. on the other hand, Obama was a well known drug addict and nothing happen.

What the fark are you on about? I'm saying that the fact that Cain was so popular is evidence against the claim that some significant portion of the Republican base is racist.

The majority of Obama supporters simply believe the hype of a very charismatic individual. This ain't rocket science... no sides are more "enlightened" or "better" than the other. It's fake politics - nothing life changing.
