What Animal legitimately scares you?

I think for me its the Komodo Dragon...  That beast is legit scary!  Strong, Vicious, got that potent venom/bacteria that poisons its prey when they bite it!  And that deep hissing sound they make!  Just a creepy mother fucker!  Would not want to face it!

Female homosapien - totally unpredictable, incredible capacity to be deceitful, has vicious weaponry between it's legs that it uses to great effect although can at times be smelly, has no conscience, can withstand inordinate amounts of mayonnaise on its face with no apparent discomfort, can manipulate its appearance from an incredibly ugly state to a thing of beauty after sundown.

The larger chimps I wouldn't want to be left alone with, they're so human like and friendly that I just know I'd drop my guard around them and wind getting my nose pulled off or some such.

Bears because they were pretty much everywhere I live.  Saw a cub running downtown the other day.

Funny, I've had the exact thought!

I hate those bastards, don't even want to see them through glass at the zoo.  I don't really believe in "evil", but those fuckers are close.

Jellyfish fucking terrify me.

You grow up on the coast in Australia, you tend to develop a healthy respect for the sea beasties, or an outright cold sweat fear.

I am terrified of jellyfish. My cousin wound up in intensive care for 2 weeks in an Airlie Beach hospital, his heart stopped 3 times and all he did was happen to walk into the chopped up tentacle of a box jellyfish in shallow water.

The tentacle. It wasn't even the fucking jelly - just a bit of it.

Can't stand poisonous spiders or snake.. Thankfully neither are common where I am from though. I can't stand something that can kill me in one bite, especially that I might not even realize they are there to begin with. I think I would rather take on a small bear than get bit.

yeah, used to see those at the beaches in Egypt.  Heard that shit stinggggs!!!!

Serious, snake or spider bite, while very painful is hardly violent!  The thought of being ripped apart by a bear smashing his powerfully clawed paws into your skull and body is pretty scary thought, seeing flesh hanging from your bones and major arteries spurting gallons of blood doesn't appeal to me.  Give me the snake or spider bite any day.  Also being killed by a shark would be pretty gruesome, their is nowhere to run and hard to defend when in the ocean.

Depends on the situation.

If you are camping outside in a Tent, Bears are nothing to mess with.

If you are surfing, Great Whites means Game Over.

If peeing in the Amazonas, The Candiru Toothpick Fish would be something to dread.

If in Australia, snakes, spiders (black widow) and scorpions would be the worst, since you are so close to them.

If you are socializing in towns, one must avoid The Big Nosy One at all cost.
