No.  Not true.  I am firmly intrenched in the lower middle class.  When it's all said and done, after my tax refund I typically pay in the 18-22% range.
Yes, I misspoke on Reagan.  He lowered it from 90.  Ultimately, even when it was 90 under Ike no one actually paid 90 once loopholes and write offs were factored in.
It's a stretch to call Ike a liberal.  Given the insane state of modern day conservatism, Ike and Reagan would both be liberals.  Guess what?  Racism aside, those were much more
