Notice I said "real mean" in the title so if you discuss which bodybuilder looked better than the other than please leave now. No offense intended, the world is full of fags and you are all entitled to your opinions.
Ok, now that the fags are gone. What do you guys think of these fkn mutts who sit on here and talk about whether they prefer a huge black muscleman or a huge white one? It used to be only 2 queers discussing it, now it seems like a hot topic around here. Are there really that many fags here? Does anyone think it is possible to talk about which male physique they prefer day in and day out and be heterosexual? Cuz I honestly can't imagine a real man discussing this type of nonsense.

Well, its gay as gay can be, for "straight" man to discuss who has the best est, most shredded ass. But hey, I just stay away from those threads, just as they seem to do when I post some fine ass chick, naked.
I've said it before, I'll say it again- start a thread about some fine ass honey, with password to her site included, and only 2 men show up. Start a thread about an ivory and an ebony mountain of muscle, and all the muscle worshipers come out to take part, and the thread goes 1700 pages...... :-\

You hit the nail on the head. Even Hulkster and ND themselves have lost their way, regarding the point they're trying to prove; besides the main point of "who is better." It's now simply become a case of tearing down the other's "man" at any cost by posting irrelavent pics, quotes, and using personal attacks. The taking over of various threads with this (now) meaningless debate is almost getting out of control.

Yeah, we all lift weights and diet (except Squadfather), but most of us could care less about the "competitive bodybuilding" scene. I think we need new mods to delete the fag shit and get this board back on track. >:(

Lifting weights, dieting, and building a decent physique for health, aesthetics, or just a sense of accomplishment is fine, but the whole "competitive bodybuilding scene" is gayer than a $3 bill. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

It has become so a bit lately, now that we've had a lot of sordid stuff about the behind-the-scenes activities of some of the pros come to light. Back in the 90s, I followed bodybuilding pretty closely via the magazines (mainly FLEX and a couple of others) and I never once saw competitions or even bodybuilding as being 'gay'. The mags focused mainly on training and nutrition and made it seem like a cool subculture that wasn't for everyone.
Problem now is that in forums like this one, people are free to speak their mind and slander whoever they want in whichever way they want, all under the shield of anonymity. Which is why some guys try and outdo the others in proclaiming how cool they are simply because they are disgusted by bodybuilding. In their defense, there are no cool characters in the "sport" now to look up to.
I know Danny is just trying to get a raise out of some people here cause he loves the drama, but some of the guys here always seem to be trying a little too hard about convincing everyone else that they aren't gay, which they do by referring to 'men in thongs' and all that. Guess what, no one cares whether you are gay or not and whether you think BB is gay or not (not addressing you there, GB). And as much as I love reading the stuff posted on here cause of the entertainment factor, I still mainly come on here to catch up with BB news as limited in scope and entertainment it is - it's not something you can discuss with anyone in your family or friends.

That's just it... anyone who's been on getbig for any amount of time knows the score and doesn't waste money on supplements. That's the main reason why the "pros" hate us (besides the fact we're airing their dirty laundry daily).

Bodybuilding is judged on specific criteria - mass, proportion, symmetry and general aesthetics. It's taking everyday judgement to the next level and making a sport out of it, because now there are specific guidelines to judge and strive for. What you're saying is that everyone who judges and admires a BBers physique is gay. If that's so, there would be alot more homosexuals on here than there already is.

I like the fact that most of my fellow posters lift and diet, as I do, and can understand the whole lifestyle. In that, the camaraderie on this board has value. But I'd rather talk about events of the day or everyday things, rather than discuss the IFBB and their idiots, most of which disgust me. I couldn't care less who won this "show" or that, except maybe if the discussion involves an owning.

It has become so a bit lately, now that we've had a lot of sordid stuff about the behind-the-scenes activities of some of the pros come to light. Back in the 90s, I followed bodybuilding pretty closely via the magazines (mainly FLEX and a couple of others) and I never once saw competitions or even bodybuilding as being 'gay'. The mags focused mainly on training and nutrition and made it seem like a cool subculture that wasn't for everyone.
Problem now is that in forums like this one, people are free to speak their mind and slander whoever they want in whichever way they want, all under the shield of anonymity. Which is why some guys try and outdo the others in proclaiming how cool they are simply because they are disgusted by bodybuilding. In their defense, there are no cool characters in the "sport" now to look up to.
I know Danny is just trying to get a raise out of some people here cause he loves the drama, but some of the guys here always seem to be trying a little too hard about convincing everyone else that they aren't gay, which they do by referring to 'men in thongs' and all that. Guess what, no one cares whether you are gay or not and whether you think BB is gay or not (not addressing you there, GB). And as much as I love reading the stuff posted on here cause of the entertainment factor, I still mainly come on here to catch up with BB news as limited in scope and entertainment it is - it's not something you can discuss with anyone in your family or friends.

Couldnt of said it better myself, the internet has in a way destroyed bodybuilding for all the right reasons. Its sick what happens behind the scenes.

Oh yea. I have only 8 active clients right now but thats about 500 dollars a month extra minus the 37 dollars a month for the service. This doesn't include the on and off customers I get who may sign up for a month for some new workouts and etc. With my personal training at the gym slowed down, it helps out. I mainly use the email service system and not really the website itself.
I was actually updating it recently when you mentioned it. My key to getting clients is the 72 hour free trial I give. Give them a taste test and they'll want the whole meal

When we create a training program through the system, we can exchange or sell them to other trainers although most of the time its just exchanging them to add variety to our programs. I actually have about 90 different programs in all. 13 are my own which is my H.O.E training system and the rest are from other personal trainers.

Since me and Arvilla are ISSA, I would say that our training methods are problably similar in terms of actual personal training although I have to retake the exam because I let it expire. I also have 2 AMFPT certifications. In all, I actually have 2 personal trainer certifications, one sports nutritionists certification and a naturopath certificate.
I'm not sure of Coach's credentials so I can't really say but he seems to be doing well.

It all depends on who comes in shape and who doesn't. Dexter won last year not so much because his muscularity and presence dominated onstage in the way Dorian or Ronnie did when they were at their prime, but more so because he had the least flaws while having a bit of shape and the best conditioning. Nearly all of the fans of bodybuilding still want a big guy to win the Mr Olympia and in the context of bodybuilding, Dexter is not a big guy.
Dex has been beaten by a lot of the other competitors before, so if any of them show up in better shape than he is in, it's theirs to win - I'm talking mainly Jay Cutler and Victor Martinez. But Victor has had a knee injury and his legs don't seem to be anywhere near what they used to be when he was in form (like the 2006 Mr Olympia).
Guys who could beat Dexter if they come in top shape include Jay, Victor, Phil, Wolf and even Toney. And even though I hope it never happens, I think Kai Greene could beat Dex too, given he's more freaky and bigger. I personally would like to see Victor or Wolf improve enough to win it - Dex just doesn't suit being Mr Olympia due to his underwhelming presence onstage.
